  1. Really great Bronco features you'd like in the Wrangler

In our explorer, the home link garage door opener works with the engine and accessories off. In my 2020 Jeep, I open the door and try to activate the garage door and....nothing happens. Seems like a design miss on Jeeps part. Love my Jeep but this is my only grip. I bet the bronco will work...
  2. 2.0 oil consumption between oil changes

I just installed a mishimoto intake pipe and saw residual oil coating the inside of the ducting past the turbo. Just a thin coating on the surfaces which I used to lubricate the some o-rings during install of the new pipe. I did install the Mishimoto catch can also, but it was only install a...
  3. Borla or Magnflow?

I have been trying to figure out the best exhaust option also. I want to have the performance with the minimal increase in sound. I had the magnaflow on my JKU 3.6L and it looked awesome. There was no drone at cruising, but I am looking for something a little quieter this go around on my JLU...
  4. Small Boat Towing Report

I have towed a 21 ft wake boat with my old JKU 6spd (sold) 2.5” lift and JLU many times. It is probably 4500lbf with trailer. Going about 2 to 3 miles to boat launch is fine. Longest I towed it was probably 7 to 8 miles. Anything longer than that and I would use our explorer which is rated...
  5. 2.0L Flash Tune With Superchips Flashpaq Tuning For Jeep Wrangler JL

Still running great with this tune and zero issues. Really noticing the difference in low end power and earlier torque. will be doing the intercooler pipe and DV+ in the next few days, so will see how that works with the tune. The mishimoto intake is on back order from Quadratec, but...
  6. 2.0 Turbo owners what octane are you using?

93 only. Ever since purchase but only have about 3k on the Jeep this year due to WFH. I would put higher if it was available. I could care less about the price of the fuel based on grade since the mileage is great and I don’t drive much. Would be nice to have an alcohol fogger and increase...
  7. 2.0 Torque Curves

Totally agree in the “versus” saga. It will never end. As long as folks are happy with what they got, then that is all that matters. I am excited to see the 4xe data. All that electrical torque is very enticing. I also like the idea of going electric as the range is all I would need each...
  8. 2.0 Torque Curves

Awesome data! I saw you had this data for the 3.6L as well. Would be cool to see them both in the same graph. I used to have a 2016 JKU 6spd and I did the chip, exhaust, air filter updates. It was fun to drive but no where near as much power and torque as the 2.0 turbo stock. The turbo is a...
  9. Cold Air Intake not available for 80th Anniversary Model?

Seems like you could probably buy just the hood vent from the part number if you already had a CAI system. I like the hood vent idea and appearance, but think the filter system of Mishimoto appears a lot better in design. To me this is the combo I would do.
  10. quadratech discount

These guys are awesome. Just PM them or email and they get back to you quickly. They are price competitive and have top notch service. Plus the catalogs that show up in the mail as cool also!
  11. Cold Air Intake not available for 80th Anniversary Model?

I have the mishimoto catch can kit on my Jeep now and no issues. Works great. I just got their intercooler pipe this week and I am waiting for the DV+ divertor to arrive in the mail. Even the packing from mishimoto is impressive, so they really strive for high quality stuff.
  12. Cold Air Intake not available for 80th Anniversary Model?

Not a big loss as the mishimoto air intake is probably better anyway. They make very high quality stuff and their designs are based on real testing.
  13. 2.0L Flash Tune With Superchips Flashpaq Tuning For Jeep Wrangler JL

Does the 2.0 have a second battery? I thought the v6 was the only one with the extra battery? Maybe because I have etorque I only have one. I only disconnected the one visibility from the hood open and easy to access. Drove a bit more today and really liking the tune. Also, as mentioned the...
  14. 2.0L Flash Tune With Superchips Flashpaq Tuning For Jeep Wrangler JL

Got my install done. It was kind of white knuckle flashing the system, but it worked out good in the end. The instructions that came with the swap PCM were not as good as the instructions in the flashpaq as they did seem to be missing the step where the tuner hooks back up after swap install to...
  15. 2.0L Flash Tune With Superchips Flashpaq Tuning For Jeep Wrangler JL

When you have to find your flash code on your PCM, it can be kind of confusing. There are two labels on the PCM and you can get a good picture of them with your phone camera while the module is still in the Jeep. The label above is the one you want to find andthe red arrow points to the flash...
  16. 2.0L Flash Tune With Superchips Flashpaq Tuning For Jeep Wrangler JL

Great customer support already from Superchips. Received the flashpaq quickly after order. Ordered PCM swap yesterday and it is shipped today. They called to follow up with the details and asked if I had any questions. So far 5 stars for them. I will update on experience after install.
  17. 2.0L Flash Tune With Superchips Flashpaq Tuning For Jeep Wrangler JL

It’s pretty common to add more low end boost on turbo engines to make huge gains. Noticed the total peak power peak increase is mild enough not to over stress the engine. Believe it or not, I am pretty sure manufacturers limit the low end power on purpose for smoother ride and power delivery...
  18. 2.0L Flash Tune With Superchips Flashpaq Tuning For Jeep Wrangler JL

Wow! Sounds amazing. Thanks for bringing this to market. I think many folks have been waiting years for this release. The first question folks are dying to know is how does your tune work with Mishimoto air intake and inner cooler pipe and perhaps exhaust. I haven’t purchased any air or...
