  1. Cracked Windshield Club

That would be a material or installation induced defect.
  2. Cracked Windshield Club

Windshield isn't going to be covered unless it was a material or install defect. Being struck by a flying stone is an accident and is why we have insurance
  3. Cover for Jeep when flat towing behind motor home?

I use the Blue Ox Kar guard. It protects the front of the Jeep and the back of the coach (from stones thrown from the Jeeps front tires)
  4. Towing baseplate for flat towing JL behind motorhome?

I did. Mopar steel bumber in my case. Minor alterations required accomplished with a hole saw and angle grinder.
  5. Towing baseplate for flat towing JL behind motorhome?

Last two I used the Blue Ox base plate, installed by RV dealer. On this one I installed the Maximus 3 tow loops. I thought it was an easy install. I'm using the Blue Ox tow bar I had but it does require buying new ends. In total is a bit less than the Blue Ox base plate and it doesn't hang down.
  6. Show the stickers / decals you've added to your Jeep Wrangler JL

It was a hail mary, knowing it might blow up. Our dogs had gotten ahold of a ball point pen and got ink all over the light colored sofa cushions. Nothing else had done anything to remove it, I was pretty much resigned to having them recovered but thoght I'd give it a shot.

I applied goo gone to vinyl upholstery once, it ate right through the vinyl. I would not use it on your plastic windows.

WD-40 is a safe adhesive remover. Try spraying it down and let it soak a few minutes. My last use was to remove two sided carpet tape from wood floors.
  9. What else do you drive?

Love the old Scouts. Had an all black "special edition" we bought new, a 1980 if I remember correctly. It too came with the same grill on your SS and a god awful ugly gold stripe I removed immediately after adding a 2.5" lift and more aggressive tires. I drove an SS at a 4X4 rally once. A...
  10. Let's see those 2-Door JL pics!

Your location shows Duluth MN but your plates are Wisconsin. You're not one of those closet Vikings fans are you?
  11. 5 Wheel Rotation vs 4 Wheel Rotation

I agree with every point here, except the math. One outa 5 is 20%. ;) My '07 Rubi came with Bridgestone MTs. It was totalled at 80,000 miles, had about 25,000 miles as a toad. It still had three of its original tires on it at the time (two had been replaced due to road hazard damage)...
  12. Check your fuses on new JL deliveries!

Thanks to this forum I knew to check before I even took delivery over a year ago. Yup, many were loose.
  13. 5 Wheel Rotation vs 4 Wheel Rotation

Had mine serviced Monday, using one of my "Jeep wave" credits. Requested a 5 tire rotation and got no resistance, no extra charge. For what its worth, my service work is not being done where I bought it.
  14. What else do you drive?

99 Camaro SS I bought new. Just turned over 26,000 miles
  15. Need some advice re setting up new 2021 Rubicon for being towed

Just saw this and the Jeep is gone with the wife, but I think I wired it the same as I did on our last toad, directly to the battery terminals. I'll check when I can and confirm
  16. Need some advice re setting up new 2021 Rubicon for being towed

To maintain the battery while towing, an RVI toad charger. Super easy install, won't overcharge or affect coach battery. I've used it on multiple vehicles now. Cutting into the Jeep harness does sound scary but it's pretty straight forward and if you test each line before cutting and after...
  17. Need some advice re setting up new 2021 Rubicon for being towed

I used the Maximus 3 tow loops this time (past JK installs I used the Blue Ox base plate). Easy install with even minimal mechanical skills and a few tools. With the diesel I really like the Air Force one supplimental brake system. Had the coach side of the system installed by dealer when we...
  18. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

installed the wire loom extension up in the dash that will allow me to "unmarry" the Tazer and return everything to stock before taking it in for service Monday
  19. Extension cable very useful for our modifications (Tazer or others) !

Installed mine yesterday. It was just as big a pain in the ass as unplugging the original, but now everything is easily accessible.
