You’ll note my current setup/ situation as was posted earlier. I also don’t make a mention that spacers are superior. I’ve just made a point they’re a good option to the alternative/ budget minded
No problems with my 1.5” or my current 1.75” wheel spacers. Loctite and correct torque specs. I’m planning to keep my stock wheels for a while. I haven’t really found a set I have to have and the stockers have been functional for all my uses so far.
with that said, why are ball joints in...
I have the “same” lift and tire setup with full bumpers, winch, tire carrier. I wouldn’t want to go any bigger to keep my COG as low as possible....it’s already higher than I’d want it. I believe I’ve cured my light rubbing issues with aftermarket inner fenders and wider spacers. But this...
Keep me posted so we can do some wheeling and boozing! Also stay about 200 miles away from Houston. Way better places to spend your time than there.
On the contrary, I’m not one to want to break or have someone in our group break...that just stalls the amount of trails I can run through. I tell my buddy with the red JK to always watch my lines because I don’t want to break or damage the body.
Jeep looks killer bud!
Huh. I guess it’s not just the RC inners that look unfinished. Thanks for the info on the AAL fender clips. I think that’ll help clean up the look of mine.
Yes.
my only complaint is on my rears. They seem to look “unifinished”. I’m not sure if that’s a RC thing or across the board for all inners. I just feel they would look better with aftermarket fenders.
Is money a concern? I’d go with the MB or AAL inners.
I went with the Rough Country set because I got them at an awesome price second hand. I actually don’t have any complaints on their inners. Quality looks good. I haven’t been out to wheel with them but hoping they cure my rubbing issues.
Please, Baby Jesus, let an old man in Texas purchase a fully loaded JLUR with the 392 this year so I can buy it in a couple of years with low miles and after it's depreciated 30k!
