I added a splash of color by painting my calipers red using the "G2 Brake Caliper Paint System kit."
Not a tough job. Just a little time consuming considering the need to get it up on four jack stands (using the stock scissor jack). I'm happy with the look!
Unfortunately, in the reply I just received from Bestop about my issue, they said they can’t help. Here’s their reply:
“You will need to go back to your dealer to contact Chrysler for a replacement. The JL parts are only OEM so far so we can not get replacements for them.”
Last night I entered an airport parking garage on my 2018 JLUR, thinking I was low enough to enter. Unfortunately, my top was open in the Sunrider position, which was just high enough to be an issue. Ugh! :headbang:There was a one-time impact to the metal bar alerting to the maximum height...

Picked up my Ocean Blue Rubi on Friday afternoon (05/11) at Superior Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Conway AR. Kim and the team were great! The deal included my upgrade to 315/70/17 BFG KO2s on the stock wheels. My wife and I took our time from driving home to Spring Hill FL. Arrived in Jackson MS...
Just guessing here as I still have six days (but who's counting) before I pick up my Rubi ...
Any chance they're meant to wrap around the top when it's folded down completely? Or perhaps when it's folded and you're removing it so that it doesn't open of flop around too much when it's being carried?
