  1. Help?! 2020 JLU Fishtailed and Rolled After Transfer Case Locked Wheels Up

OK, this isn't just JEEP. This is every single car dealer. The issue is if they cannot replicate it then they do not know where to look. You cant just say "My transfer case slipped out this one time i used it." If you don't know what is broken and it cannot be replicated then how are they...
  2. Help?! 2020 JLU Fishtailed and Rolled After Transfer Case Locked Wheels Up

The axles of the Willys and the Rubicon are not the same, The Rubi has an electronically activated locker, where as the Willys has a conventional Limited Slip, if equipped.
  3. 2021 Jeep JLR problems in first few days

Which tailgate shit are you talking about, the un-smooth surface? That panel is most likely going to not be smooth because it is a cast product and cast items are not smooth untill they are machined down. I would be more worried the thin paint around the hinges.
  4. 2021 Jeep JLR problems in first few days

If i came off hostile i apologize  but yea my point exactly with the inside getting banged upp.
  5. 2021 Jeep JLR problems in first few days

Run your finger across the surface. IT is no where near smooth due to how it is cast, just like any cast iron items. With it being on the inside of the swing gate and it is rarely ever seen i wouldn't worry about it. It doesn't affect the structural strength of it and if you do want it smoothed...
  6. Car Washes and retractable roofs and Antennas

Are we talking full blown car wash with the spinning brushes and the whole nine yard? The only issue I had with the soft top and car washed was water being shot into the back top corner of the side windows, as well as above the doors with a strong enough blower. Thats really it though. God...
  7. 2021 Jeep JLR problems in first few days

Im not sure if you have had this sorted out or not yet but i believe the tailgate is simply a casting issue. My tailgate has got divots like this as well, (I cannot take pics ATM though because it is at the dealership for the repaint on the hinges.) It is only on the inner side though which is...
  8. Jeep TRUE off-road ruggedized version (base)

I agree. I have a 2 door, Base Sport with Manual everything. I got simple cause i wanted simple and dependable. Why people dont just get a Sport and Mod it the way they actually want it is beyond me. I think People just see the RUBICON name and think it is the King of Wranglers. That or they...
  9. Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

I believe this will still be an issue.... My loaner is a Black 2021 Sport. While looking around at the hinges, (cause why not) you can deff see where there is ZERO paint under the hinges. The black really shows how thin it is around and under the hinge. Just keep and eye on it, If you want to...
  10. Wreck in a leased JL

Honestly, turning it in on lease isn't going to change anything for you. At the end of the day you do not own the vehicle and as long as you fix the vehicle to be in perfect resalable order then you are good. My friends wife was T-Boned in her leased Rogue. The insurance had the whole side, both...
  11. Jeep Market Research Survey: Off-Road Turn Assist and 4-wheel Steering

Yea, no one needs these gimmicks on a Wrangler. Simple simple simple. Solid Axles, lockers, articulation and ground clearance. That is all that is needed. All i do is wheel mine in the woods and have never even needed the Turn Assist function. In my eyes it takes the fun out of wheeling. If you...
  12. Experience Jeep CES 2021 Virtually + Augmented Reality Look at Wrangler 4xe (from Jan 11)

I'm SO ANNOYED that there wont be any in person auto shows this year :( Its ok to look at pics online but its a whole other thing to actually go out and look at, touch and test drive these vehicles in person.
  13. Catalytic Converter Theft- what to do

There is literally no possible way to throw headers onto a Pentastar heads
  14. Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

My Jeep goes in for paint on the 9th. My dealer was really good about just snapping a few pics and didn't even fight me on if it was covered or not. It is a 2018 Mojito! so we shall see if the body shop can match the paint. :fingerscrossed: I have seen some nightmare stories on here about non...
  15. Mahindra Roxor can be sold in US

The Mahindra is bad ass!!! I wish this thing was street legal in the US. The sale of the Roxor is in no way, shape or form a Jeep competitor. It is a side by side with a tiny little diesel engine and leaf springs. No one would dare drive that on a daily basis. I could wager that anyone who owns...
  16. Clutch Recall (FCA W12 | 20V-124) on 2018-2020 JL Manuals [overheating clutch pressure plate]

(Instantly looks down at my 5 Speed tattoo to make sure its right....) :fingerscrossed: it was :like:
  17. Does nobody love bare bones Jeeps anymore?!

THIS GUY!!! Mine is an 18, with manual everything. The only options i have are AC and the Deep Tint Windows (I would have opted out of AC but it was already on it.) I am a firm believer of "Wranglers should be as simple as possible." :like:
  18. Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

Hopefully it all goes good for you. I will be bringing mine in tomorrow to have the pictures taken. My bubbling really isnt as bad as the ones ive seen on here. As far is the steering though, it got worse as the temp went down? Mine actually got better with the temps dropping. So weird.
  19. Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

If I were you i would save that Grand and put it elsewhere. This paint issue is going to keep resurfacing on all of us effected and it is honestly a waste of money.
  20. Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

Im in Plymouth, Ma. myself. Mine has 26k on the clock and my paint looks just about the same as yours. It isn't too bad to where im afraid of it flaking off (like Ford hoods) but it is at the point where its annoying. I imagine your fears are much like mine and the body shop wont beable to match...
