  1. What Suspension setups are people running in Australia?

How would you compare the “head roll” especially in the 2nd row seats (especially on road)?
  2. What Suspension setups are people running in Australia?

I’m thinking of Fuel vapor 17*9, +20 offset. Should go well with a 295*70 R17, (and keep it road worthy) based on some online research tools. I’ll need to see how it would pan out in real though. All my upgrade plans are on hold for now.

Nice. Are you planning to whack them on to the stock Rubicon wheels? Any plans for suspension lifts as yet?

Did a few minor changes & upgrades on my Rubicon: Took off the ugly fender gap filler, put in a custom (DYI) red carpet & tints. Taking off the fender gap filler was easy done, just 4 nuts & off it went.
  5. Selling/swapping your Overland wheels? (Melbourne, AU)

Hi @rubileon, Sorry for hijacking your thread, but I’m also planning to swap out my near new Rubicon M/T tyres. Pls ping me if anyone else is interested as well.

The change is massive for me, the noise in the cabin especially. I’m planning to change the tyres to an AT since I have felt that most of the cabin noise is originating from those muddies. On the plus side, I can now join my mates for off-roading (I never dared take my RR Evoque anywhere near...

Thanks for that. I’m yet to shop around.

Meanwhile, I was quoted $4600odd for the Mopar 2” lift at the Dealership. I felt that was a bit steep, what are your thoughts?

I took delivery of my Rubicon at Jeep Knox yesterday. Initial thoughts:- Cons: - The steering/handling: It is a bit hard to get it to stop wandering in the lane (the steering itself is light) & takes time to get used to: I was driving a Range Rover Evoque before, so the transition was close to...

Thanks. The stock muddies look quite aggressive, but I feel it to be a touch undersized. I’m thinking of upgrading the tyres straightaway, maybe Nitto Ridgegrappler 34”. I plan to keep it legal on road as I might use it for daily drive (mostly), so 34” is the max I could go in Victoria (along...

I had opted for the Rubicon “luxury pack”, that has body coloured fender flares. Don’t think that it is the US spec fenders (or if we can get it here), but the salesperson at Knox Jeep tells me that it should be good to whack on a 34inch without lift. I’m still considering whether I should wait...

Hi Guys, Can’t say how thrilled I am knowing that I’m getting my Rubicon delivered this week. I had it pre-ordered early January at Knox Jeep in Melbourne. Looks like mine would be the first Rubicon out of their showroom. Went into the showroom today & had a look at my Black Rubicon in their...
