I haven't been following too closely either right now but my order was placed 10/5 and I took delivery at my dealer 11/18.
I think a general estimate is probably around 6-8 weeks although some go faster if you're lucky or longer if you're unlucky.
Good luck :)
One thing I've learned over the years is that I basically drive the exact same in the snow no matter what vehicle I'm driving. I don't care if it's FWD, 4WD, AWD or whatever. I take it slow and go as fast as I'm comfortable going. I could care less what others around me are doing. If...
I just had to add this is a great thread and should almost be a sticky or something.
I urged my dealer to check my fuses when I picked up my JLUR a few weeks ago. My salesman remarked that he never really heard of such a thing but would have it looked at.
When I picked up the Jeep, he was...
I haven't had to decide yet as I just got my JLUR a few weeks ago, but leaning toward just doing 4 also.
I'm perfectly happy with the stock tires so would just look to get the same next time at this point.
And I like having a nice looking spare on the back with a nice looking rim. I don't...
Nice to read the original story behind the wave.
Have had my JLUR for only a few weeks. I honestly was unaware of the wave thing before ordering my Jeep but after seeing it mentioned in the forum, I've been sure to put it into practice.
So far after a few weeks, I'd estimate that probably...
What I was going to say.
I think leases can make sense in some situations. I mean, my wife leases a car and has for years. It works well for her as she's always in warranty. But I honestly don't think she's ever paid over about $250 a month for anything she's had (Equinox's and currently a...
Probably would be a good idea.
So happy that people are taking the time working on this and looking forward to getting one. I mean, this is a mod that could really save a life somewhere. That might seem silly, but reduced visibility because snow and ice blocks your view is definitely not a...
I was going to mention the heated seats and steering wheel coming on automatically.
This was something I was trying to figure out after just getting my Jeep last week. I noticed it was coming on sometimes and not others. Kept thinking maybe there was a setting or something. I did find that...
I'd be in too! Calling third on the list :)
Looks great though and hopefully it works well and holds up to heat.
Would be a bit nicer than the socket rails I've been using!
This is what I was going to say. It sounds like to me the electrical systems went wonky and surely could've been some looses fuses.
When I got mine last week, I requested that my dealer check the fuses to be sure they were seated. My salesman kind of laughed and said he'd never heard of that...
I highly doubt this. I mean, wouldn't it basically eliminate the Rubicon model? The only thing left would be the letters and hood.
I guess I feel like the reason the Rubicon trim exists in the first place is for people that want those things.
What would be more believable is that they add an...
That's what I was thinking of trying next. What do you set to in the winter & summer generally?
I always just mostly left my previous car at around 70-72 year around. But I don't think that's going to cut it here.
Wanted to give a shout out to @Jeeporama !
Added these plugs to my Rubicon today. They look even better in person and match the Rubicon perfectly!
Great quality plug and a fantastic, classy dash of red!
Tossing my vote for the Rubicon.
I also just got this as my first Jeep a couple weeks ago. I'm not an off-roader...or at least I haven't been. But I will say since getting this I saw a tractor trail leading into the woods not far from my house and took a drive down it! It was nothing...
Just took delivery of my 2021 JLUR last week....loving it!
One thing I'm not loving though is the auto temperature controls. It just doesn't seem to work very well. I mean, it's 30 degrees out and I barely feel any heat at all coming out of the vents on a 30 minute drive. I have the temp set...
Maybe I got unlucky....or you got lucky :)
I've got virtually nothing blowing within about 10 inches or so on either side of the defrost vents but it blows like gangbusters in the middle. I mean, I get a little trickle on the sides but can can easily see how it won't be heavy enough to keep...
