Honestly not sure.. took it in for alignment a year or so ago and they noticed one of the bolts sheered off if I remember correctly. So they replaced it with this generic mount. Best guess is on some rocks off-roading.
So I've narrowed it down to the steering stabilizer bracket on the tierod. Should I not be using this? Originally had the yeti xd aluminum steering stabilizer bracket but that broke off and a local shop replaced it with this.
I gave it a good hose and the steering now turns fully both ways... definitely some cement like mud must have been stuck in there... still hear some slight popping noises while turning left. Probably should give the fittings a good greasing..
I Was just trying to fish around for others with same symptoms.. just trying to do some research while I'm at work. I appreciate the replies and will try to get underneath and see if anything looks abnormal when I get home later.
I did start the Jeep up and the service 4wd light does appear...
Hello. Looking for some advice. 2018 Sahara jlu with 45,000 miles. Just came back from a 5 hour road trip.. drove in 4wd a bit while I was on vacation due to snow and mud. I almost high centered myself on some dirt, maybe something came loose underneath? Did I bend something? It didn't seem...
So I had the Jeep not start on me a few days ago.. had the wife jump me and went along my way. Stumbled across this thread. I have a 2018 jl that hasn’t received the TSB as far as I know.
so my problem is when I disconnect aux ground to main battery and apply the jumper. The Jeep doesn’t start...
Basically the same experience here. I e since flipped my mirror mounts to the bottom as well. Absolutely zero issues whether off-roading or 80mph on highway. Legit product and company.
Yeah that’s bullshit. Definitely find a different dealer. Maybe try to find a mod friendly dealer that is worth driving to. I found one an hour and a half away. not one question about my mods and I’ve had multiple issues addressed under warranty. (Rear diff, steering box,Uconnect reprogram, fad)
