Did you get this issue resolved?
My 8.4 unit is boot looping and will not stop unless it just goes black for a while but shortly it will start again.
This has killed multiple sets of batteries.
Did replacing the unit fix this issue?
Did you ever get this sorted out?
I have been having my 8.4 headunit bootloop and now my batteries are dying about every 2-3 months no matter what.
When I say the batteries are dying, they will not take a charge. I have not been able to determine a cause.
So I keep having my batteries die and I cannot figure it out for the life of me.
I posted a thread a while back where my head unit was acting crazy. See here: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/8-4%E2%80%9D-uconnect-constantly-bootlooping.120246/

Honestly, the manufacturer went beyond what I expected.
They sent me their upgraded version and fast shipping. They had it sent out the next morning and it arrives today. They have been super responsive and engaged. Really couldn’t ask for more.
As far as rocks, where I live we don’t really...
First, I want to say that after I posted this on an Instagram story they reached out to me really quickly.
They asked for a few pictures and they weren’t trying to find fault, they seemed like they were trying to figure out what cause the issue to prevent future issues.
This morning, they...
I posted it on my Instagram and tagged them.
They reached out ASAP and are having a meeting in the morning and getting back with me. They seemed pretty surprised as well.
It was so random that it happened. I wasn’t doing anything that anyone would consider extreme. I was driving down the...
Has anyone encountered this?
mine does it from time to time. No rhyme or reason that I have been able to track down.
i have reset the system, pulled batteries, pulled fuses, reset…. Nothing. Used phones connected, no phones connected.
It is intermittent and cannot replicate it.
Tonight when I was driving home I noticed the jeep was swaying and driving odd, all of a sudden.
I noticed a hellacious noise, pull over and this is what I find…
Second photo, I tied it up so that I could get home.
Ordering a new one if anyone has any opinions
For any future individual with this issue, the trackbar isn’t made for the diesel setup.
Confirmed by manufacturer.
They didn’t state that it was specific to the gas model and I didn’t know there was a difference in the track bars for the diesel.
you know, that may be it ??‍♂️
I’ll send them a message and see.
I looked this over until my mind was numb before I made the post. I’m normally pretty handy and just couldn’t figure it out.
Nothing quite like overlooking the finer details like engine difference when buying alignment components lol
Hey guys,
thanks for the input.
This is the trackbar

Hey guys,
Weird situation here. I started hearing a knock every now and then so I got under theJeep and found that the exhaust is making contact with the rear trackbar and also looks to be making contact elsewhere.
I have no idea what’s causing this. The suspension seems fine.
what are...
