Very sad news and a horrible start to the New Year for those children. RIP. We can all have a technical discussion on this crash much later. Priority should be those children right now.
What are your specs? 6 spd manual/3.6 pentastar or 8 spd auto/3.6 pentastar or 8 spd auto/2.0 Turbo 4?
Mine is a 2020 JLUR/8 spd auto/ 3.6 pentastar. I wanted it in manual when I custom ordered it back in July 2019 but had heard of a clutch recall then. Opted for the auto therefore.
I still...
Yes and no both. It all depends on what I am driving for. If I am driving for my job: no. My job requires me to drive as much as 400 miles one way and I get paid 68 cents per mile. In order to save on costs and get good bang for my buck on these work trips, I use my 2024 Honda Civic Si. The 6...
Assuming Jeep is part of the Stellantis brand come 2028, this means that the J70 may probably be a very minor upgrade over the JL. They might do some small cosmetic changes, elminate the 3.5 Pentastar and the 6 speed manual, make the 2 liter the sole option and call it a J70 due to dried up R&D...
Yes. 357 has that very nasty kick when it comes out of an LCRx snubbie. 38 spl plus P helps a little bit. Can also go down to 38 spl as well. That helps manage the recoil even better
Same here. Have never ever had to fire my 357 mag snubby the three years I have had it. But I still go everywhere with it loaded with 38 special +P as you never know......
Its rather tiring and my 6 year old keeps on running around while I do this. For her, I am playing games. Check out the photo. My "Jeep" sign is still rather crooked. This is the Mopar Spare Tire cover for a JLUR. I put it on to minimize dry rot.
Any guidance on how I can straighten this...
Not just American, but the Japanese big 3 doing the same thing. When I was in the market for a Honda Civic last year, Long Island dealers wanted to charge as much as $42k before taxes for a Civic. $40k plus for a Honda Civic? Wtf ru smoking bro. Everyone told me the car I want is rare and...
Would I trade-in my JLUR and get the XJ? No. I will probably trade in my 2024 Honda Civic Si however for it and get the XJ in a stick shift. This way I can have two Jeeps. An automatic 3.6 JLUR and an XJ in a stick shift (preferably 6 cylinder or higher). The XJ will replace the stick shift...
Had this annoying feature in my 2024 Civic Si. Turned both the auto high beams and the automatic lane keep assist off the moment I took the Honda out of the dealership. Luckily my 2020 JLUR does not have it by default.

Hoping this bad time passes away and they come out unscathed. Won't be surprised if Q4 also sees a deceease but shouldn't be as dramatic due to Holiday Season shopping and deals?? (I hope)
Yes. You can say that. It was a rough experience esp hwy during the changeover to the engine. Refinement for me was another issue as I am daily driving a 3.6 Pentastar.
Once rented me a 4xe when in Nashville for work. Drove it to Huntsville, AL and back (about 120 miles one way). At the end of my three day rental and almost 300 miles later, I was happy that my personal Jeep is what it is (an ICE 3.6 Pentastar with the 8 speed auto). Found the 4xe a lot less...
