  1. Falken's Wildpeak A/T4W apparently suck in snow

The Falkens do weigh considerably more. The C rated versions that come on the Gladiators weigh nearly as much as any other E rated tire from other brands. I’d hate to know what the E rated Falken weighed on their rig.
  2. Spied: 2025 Jeep Recon EV

The design of this lacks any real cohesiveness. It’s like they took bits here and there that are of a Jeeps identity, but they don’t blend together well. Compare that with the recently debuted Scout and this thing has no chance. My 2 cents…
  3. Can someone explain the basics of the corrosion problem?

This was posted on the Facebook Group earlier this month. About the worst I’ve seen.
  4. 2025 Prices Barely Changed

On the Canadian site if you go to build a ā€˜24 sport, the base price reflected is with the discount. If you add the value of discount back to the price, the MSRP comes out to around 46k. The ā€˜25s don’t have a rebate so the starting at price requires no calculation. Here’s a window sticker of a...
  5. 2025 Prices Barely Changed

I was just taking a look at the Jeep website up here in Canada. Shockingly Jeep drastically reduced the MSRP on the 2 door models. Base MSRP for a Sport went for 46k in 2024 down to 37,700 in 2025. You can now get a 2 Door Willys in 2025 for the price of what a Base sport was in 2024.
  6. Another 3.6 Bites the Dust (...and a story)

This is a great example of how short sighted dealers are. You had every intention of buying a 2 Door Jeep, and with their lack of priority on customer satisfaction, not only did they lose the opportunity to repair the Jeep and be paid by Stellantis for it, but they also lost out on a sales...
  7. Preventing corrosion

    That’s great to hear!
  8. Preventing corrosion

I’ve yet to see a used early JL without it. Obviously anecdotal. I’m interested in how widespread this issue truly is but based on my observations it’s nearly 100%.
  9. Tire Cupping/ Causes?

We recently rented a Willys 4xe with about 30k on the clock. The stock Firestone MTs were so badly cupped that we couldn’t wait to get out of it when we got to our destination. Howled in town and on the interstate. Vibrated the seats etc. Being a rental it’s very likely the tires were never...
  10. Excessive wind noise at 65 MPH UP

The MTs that come on the Willys are fickle. We rented a 4xe Willys in Arizona with 30k on the clock and the tires were horrendous. We couldn’t wait to get out of the thing. It was so bad that we returned it after our drive from Phx to Tucson for a replacement which was another Willys 4xe with...
  11. 18% Off MSRP 24 Willys... I am getting one.

Solid deal. Now priced about where they should be! All models of CDJR are piling up on dealer lots and it’s forcing dealers to offload inventory as their floor plan costs are burdensome.
  12. Rumors re: 2025 Wrangler model

It would be nice if they would improve their manufacturing process to fix the corrosion issues.
  13. Jeep/Dodge Having Problems Selling???

Adjusted for inflation, vehicles by and large don’t cost any more than they did 30 years ago. The bigger issue is that average salaries have not kept pace. The issue remains, but ultimately it’s not all on OEMs. An example I recently saw is TFL purchased a 90s Tahoe that when adjusted for...
  14. 2024 Jeep Wrangler Named Best SUV of 2024 by Cars.com

Value? Really? A 2 Door base Jeep costs nearly 50k up here in Canada. People have gone mad.
  15. Article: Jeep's Deep Problem (too much inventory; people don’t want to buy Jeeps)

This is anecdotal, but I got a good laugh. I was picking up my Jeep from the local shop yesterday after some service and no word of a lie, everyone vehicle on a lift was a Stellantis product. Jeep Compass, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Ram Truck and a Dodge Journey. I can’t speak to why they were there...
  16. Did Our Bubble Burst?

Jeeps, any model, are about 15-20% overpriced imo. I know it’s just my opinion but I’m sure I’m not the only one. They may play a part in things.
  17. Your Top 5 Jeep related YouTube channels

Venture4wd and Epic Family Road Trip.
  18. Official: New Jeep Wrangler Xtreme Recon Package Announced. Will Debut at Chicago Auto Show

They’d be smart to offer this package across the board. 2 Door/4 Door all trims, with different prices based on what’s already standard on the vehicle it’s going on. This would compete against the Bronco Sasquatch package.
  19. New JL Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

Seeing it launch reminds me of taking off on a high performance boat more so than any road vehicle.
  20. New JL Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

Just watched the Redline Reviews YouTube review of the 392. The reviewer is sawing on the wheel for much of the video and even comments on it but just attributes it to how the Jeep handles naturally. As a new car reviewer I assume they assume the vehicles their given are mechanically correct so...
