I have the Mishimoto on the way actually :)
I replaced the radiator with a Mishimoto last year due to a leak on the stock unit. I should have replaced both at the time... oh well.
I was eluding to the heater on the Transmission side. I plan to order a replacement in case my old one gives out...
220 is common for my 2018 3.6 auto, especially in stop and go summer traffic. It has been since day one.
I don't like that it gets that high, but I've yet to have any issues at 80k miles.
Revolution gears (4.88).
I'm running 35s with a 3.6 Auto, and don't really plan on going to 37s at any point.
No noises beyond what the Jwep naturally makes. I did a proper breaking period and change the diff oil every 30k.
Worst case, I just put the top down and turn the noise reduction knob...
Used them for a few efforts including regearing, and i have no issues.
The Jeep has been going strong post regear for 2yrs now including multiple 10k mile road trips out west to CO, UT, NV, etc.
There's a few good threads on the topic here if you haven't already seen them. I believe this one has a decent view of the t-case location: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/water-in-the-trans-moving-tubes.44093/post-973371
I believe it's the Transmission breather.
The t-case is small and sits atop the case itself (image of mine post extension below).
Extending the t-case and axle breathers into the engine bay is fairly easy though.
You guys are all doing it wrong. 6qrts of equal parts 0w20 and 5w30 with a couple of squirts of wd40 for lubrication at every oil change will guarantee you are always running with an engine that may as well be brand new!
Sunrider followed by Genesis Dual Battery System as they get used constantly. Afterwards, it would likley be the Original version LoD Sliders and Front Bumper, as they protect the body and allow for a winch.
I did a 4th refill after making sure it was warm (same as last time), but this time it took another 1/2qrt.
Problem solved. Thankfully it was a simple fix. Thanks for the reply as it made me double/triple guess myself 😉
Legit, the hurricane just came through last night and took.out our back...
Just did this service for my 2018, but now there is a rattle when it shifts gears.
No vibrations or hesitation in changing gears, but the rattle (kinda like a loose piece of metal in a jar/can) is present from gear 2-8 at shift points (Nothing in Reverse or Neutral).
I pulled the pan to make...
