As stated by @limeade, aside from the Method Wheels, that accessory package is not worth $13k
They don't even list what 2.5" Rubicon Express lift it is, does it come with control arms? track bars? are the springs rated for the 4xe? whatever it is, it isn't $3000. They are probably tacking on...
Finally installed the Innovative AT Products on-board air system with ARB Twin Compressor I've had but never had time to install it.
Wired it to the AUX 4 button, but when I went to turn it on, only the compressor fan came on!
Went through the entire diagnostic list in the ARB instructions and...
Update!: I did the modification to the upper spring isolators this weekend and my front springs are now sitting straight!
Also, I made a post detailing the mod here: LINK
Now I guess I need to decide if I want to do this again whenever Rock Krawler comes out with their neutral isolator. ?‍♂️
I recently installed a 3.5" Rock Krawler X-Factor "No-Limits" suspension system on my 2021 Rubicon 4xe. Everything went pretty smoothly following the instructions for the JL X Factor Series Mid Arm found on Rock Krawler's website. However I ran into one very noticeable issue with the Front...
Just wish I knew I needed to do this while I had the spring out in the first place! Lol
also the 4xe is unable to reroute the parking brake cables so I had to order this teraflex extension kit over the weekend.
update: alignment is done. Just waiting on the shop to mount and balance my tires. Unfortunately the inward spring bow is still there however. Called @Rock Krawler Suspension and they sent me the video about modifying the stock spring isolators to correct the bow. It looks like I’ll be looking...
Interesting read (after ignoring all the fighting haha)
Once I get the Jeep back from alignment and see how it sits, I’ll have to contact @Rock Krawler Suspension about this possible new upper isolator…
I went out this morning and checked to make sure the axle was centered and that the springs were seated correctly. Axle was within 1/8” side to side and the springs looked seated top and bottom.
The Jeep is at the automotive shop getting a full alignment done and wheels and tires put on. Castor...
they are the same spring (part numbers match) - double checked the rock krawler website and they are sold in matching pairs like that. It’s also the correct part number for the 4xe.
@Roky that’s a possibility. The front track bar is set at the starting length according to the instructions. Might have to adjust it and make it a little longer.
Do you know if incorrect caster then have this effect as well?
So, I've been working on installing my Rock Krawler 3.5" No-Limits Mid-Arm suspension lift on my Rubicon 4xe.
I have everything installed with next steps being to align the front end and adjust the rear pinon angle, finishing up with torquing down all of the control arm jam nuts.
The reason...
Just saw the video. It is extremely similar to the Innovative AT system (which I have). It looks like the main differences are the brackets and their (Epic's) little electrical connection to the switch. Also, the Epic system doesn't have a gauge with a deflation valve.
I think my main issue...
Sounds like someone was doing burnouts, overdid it and went too far, and is now trying to pass it off as the brakes just "suddenly overheating".
If that's the case, stock brakes should be a fine replacement, or go with HD ones if you plan to abuse them.
I've had my 4xe for almost a year now, 22,000 miles on it. Driven it across the country 4 times, and have not had any issues other than a broken windshield and some recalls/software updates (knock-on-wood).
It sounds like you have a very specific issue with your 4xe. At least see if they can...
Great color!
Really want to see what it looks like with the 3.5" lift and 37s since that is what I plan on doing once my stock tires wear out.
Also, with the metalcloak lift, did you make sure to get the kit with the 392 rated springs and not just the standard kit?
So I ordered the Mopar Jeep Floor Mats from Quadratec and found out that the rear mats are too big for the 4xe. Will be returning them.
After looking around I found that the correct part number for the Red Jeep Lettering floor mats is 82215986
No one seems to have these in stock yet. I...
