The bottom bolt is the same as the top bolt.
close the door and use tape to help “secure” the door. Pull the top bolt and go to your local Tractor Supply to see if you can find a replacement bolt.
bolts may be related to bumper mounting, but definitely not needed for sensor mounting.
I have an SB Gen 2 XRC. It came with bolts needed for mounting and other than the parts listed in OP, nothing else was needed for mounting the sensors.
If you google the part numbers (pretty much any of them), it'll tell you specifically which body / trim / engine / transmission (vehicle fitment) it will work on.
According to this (https://www.mymoparparts.com/oem-parts/mopar-sensor-mounting-bracket-68295600ac), this is supposed to work on...
just reread your post. If you drilled your own holes, then yes, you will have to glue them in. After market as well as OEM have the appropriate pieces to mount the brackets into place.
very much enjoying the lift. Better than stock? Not sure I can accurately answer that since I’m 3.5” higher than stock on 37’s. For the lift andtires, it rides amazingly.
I thought there were two types of "Willys". The one based on the Sahara should work. The one based on the Sport will not.
This upgrade requires a DRL that isn't integrated into the inner fender liner. On the Sahara and Rubicon, they are separate (either LED and non-LED). On the Sport...
The sensor location shouldn’t be an issue as long as they are in installed in the order that they are in in the wiring harness. The bezel is what orientates them in the proper direction.
they are positional, but the middles have less of an angle. You may be able to tweak enough for it to work. Good luck. Let us know if you’re able to make it work.
I don't actually know the answer to that question as I went aftermarket inner fender liners (Artec) and I paid someone to do the install. I don't believe you can keep the OEM inner fender liners as they are attached to the DRL housing which goes away.
I'm using an Artec Industries JL Spare Tire Mount (https://www.artecindustries.com/jllpmount). It works really well, but my wife still hates it 18 months later ?
Our Moabs are Sahara's. If looking at lifts / wheels / tires, treat it as a Sahara. We don't have the highline fenders of a Rubi. Ours only has the springs / shocks from a Rubi.
Added RSE sliders a few weeks ago. Waiting on AAL Fender Chop kits to ship (notified it should be soon) and then I'll install that along with Artec front / rear inner fender liners as well as RSE Rock Guards. That'll be pretty much it for this year. Next year will be Prorock 44 front axle and...
