Our '22 Rubicon has had FOUR replacements. We carry glass coverage and have for decades. We've had 5 Jeeps over the last 20 years. We rarely get 12 months on a windshield. Our "record" was four in one year including two within less than a month.
Our local dealership in Wickenburg, AZ appears to have an over abundance of Wranglers as well as Ford/Ram trucks as compared to past years. When you look at the window stickers, it is easy to understand why. Interest rates combined with inflation especially housing costs have many people on the...
I'm not a troll or some nutcase conspiracist. But because of the canned responses I've received on this forum and ones that others have cited, I just wonder if Jeep Cares is an algorithm response from AI or is it real people? I've had enough experience with customer support to know that if you...
"Leather" is not leather. Cloth is cheaper. Cover it with Carhart covers. Sit on it, spill on it, dogs walk on it, kids do... on it. Take them off when you sell it and the seats still look great.
No clue to answer your question. Somebody here with more knowledge will answer. My guess is that the tire ages out from a variety of environmental and manufacturing factors besides UV.
On your Wrangler do a five tire always. That way you don't leave the spare hanging out to sun rot and be unusable down the road. If you stay stock put the best one on the spare and buy four new ones when you buy new tires. Of course, if you change sizes on the second set ignore this reply. Do...
OP here. My selling dealer Jones Jeep in Wickenburg, AZ has never had a problem with doing a five tire rotation under Jeep Wave for my last two Wranglers even when one of them wasn't purchased from them.
Live in Arizona and have been summering in cool Colorado since late May. Needed an oil change and tire rotation. Called Town & Country Jeep in Alamosa, Colorado. They could get me in a couple of days after I called. I was surprised it could be that quick. I asked for a five tire rotation and my...
I was trying to remember where I saw this information in my reply above. Thanks for posting it. I had a similar issue having to use an extension to clear the spare tire with my ebike carrier. I had to calculate the total weight of the carrier and two ebikes to make sure I was within the...
Blatant child neglect/abuse. Ticket is order for no restraints. Would imagine that child protective services will contact the parents. Just can't fix stupid.
OP here... I'm posting a link that answered my question about installing the liner before or after snapping the new fender into place. Doing this for the next person that finds themselves in this situation. 2018-2020 Jeep JL Install | Mopar Rubicon LED Fender Flares (youtube.com)
I totally agree with you. I'm sure that is the way they do it at the factory, but that person installs how many a day? They probably have special tools or robotic assistance. Just wondering...
I want to thank all of you for your nurse maiding me on replacing the front fender on the wife's daily driver 2023 JL Rubi. I'm ready to install the replacement stock fender. So, hopefully this will be my last question. So, do I install the liner on the replacement fender before or after I snap...
As I said in my OP, one video shows removal of inner fender without drilling the rivets Jeep Wrangler JL Morimoto GEN2 XB LED Turn Signals; Smoked Review & Install (youtube.com) . Another video shows drilling them out. That is my question.
Maybe I wasn't making myself clear. I know it all comes off in one piece. My question is about removing the liner from the old fender and installing it on the new fender. Need to know if it can be done without drilling out the plastic rivets.
I've looked at numerous videos on removing the inner fender liner. Some show drilling out some of the 8 factory rivets along the outer edge. One shows removing the liner without drilling them. Need to reuse the liner on factory replacement fender.
