Guys: I have a Mopar extended warranty for eight years and 125,000 miles. Knowing how some of these companies can try to deny claims about stupid shit like “you didn’t use OEM fluids“, I am sticking with pure OEM parts and fluids until that warranty expires. As much as it doesn’t make sense, I...

Makes total sense!
I can't find a Mopar part number for 75W140 that works at my local discount dealer place. Anyone have this number? I'm under an 8 year 125k mile Mopar warranty, so I'm going to continue to use Mopar fluids so they can never claim that I did something incorrectly. I could...
This makes logical sense to me. I can't imagine that once the diff is moving, whether under a towing load or not, that it heats up very quickly. Thank you!
Duh, sorry about that. Thank you!
I just googled it, and this is what came up:
Yes, 75W140 differential fluid can be considered too thick for very cold weather conditions due to its high viscosity rating, particularly the "140" part which indicates its thickness at high temperatures...
Guys: Reviving this thread. Someone told me recently that 75W140 fluid gets too thick in the cold winter weather of Missouri (high today in the 20s). Any thoughts on this? Shall I run different weights at differnt times of the year? And thank you for the Dana specs; that's interesting that they...

Thank you Benny. When I take the old plug out to add this new heated plug, what liquid is going to come out, and how much? Is that going to be coolant, or oil? Obviously the new heater core is heating a fluid of some sort. Thanks again!
I know when I used a weight distributing hitch on my JK, everything flexed. I wonder how Jeep is getting away with the 5k tow rating and not upgrading the receiver and it's connection points?
So I read this thread about EU tow ratings. And I have a question about the receiver that is put on 2024 JLs with the 5000 lb tow rating? Are they still a Class 2 receiver? Are they same as is put on the JLs that aren't rated for 5000 lbs?
Wouldn’t you think that the OEM full float on a 2024 Rubicon which is bolt directly to a 2023JL, considering the non-Rubicon is the same axle as the 2023JL? That’s what I really want, a completely stock OEM plug-in play swap.
Talking my Jeep in finally to get this looked at again. I will open a case with Stellantis. I plan to open a case with the NTSA as well (or whatever its called). Check engine light continue to come on every few days, and stay on for a day or so. Same code every time. My OBD2 tracker sends...
So I've had a 2014 Grand Cherokee since brand new with this same engine. I have pulled a camper all over the US with that car. I've had cooling issues with it, but I know the capabilities of this engine like the back of my hand (diesel - and the issues with it as well, and I still chose to buy...
