I had the dealership do it. I’m assuming they sent them over to the body shop, but they took a panel off the Jeep and the rings and had them done. Truly you can bring them to anyone who does powder coating and they should be able to help you out.
That price does seem insane. Not sure what other amenities are included but that price is is higher than of you got the extreme recon package on a non 4xe
This is my exact set up as well. I have used my winch for recovery training, but more importantly and seems to always be the use case for me…..cleaning timber from trails. Lol.
As with BigMaCro said, Jeep is the same as any other Jeep and winches are no different with the 4xe.

that’s what I went with. I didn’t put any anti sieze on which maybe the issue.
Yea that’sa great idea. The shop said to take the bushing removal tool and tap on the door pins from underneath. So hopefully that’ll release the doors. One I do that I’ll clean them up again and then maintain them a tad better.
Hi all.
Last year I replaced my door hinge bushings from the factory with brass ones. All was well, however winter in the north came and as I washed the Jeep I noticed that the doors are opening and shutting not well. They are tough to open and even harder to actually shut. Figured maybe salt...
Yea it’s not the normal tighten. May send it in since it’s under warranty to at least have piece of mine. I just legit never really noticed it until today
Just a quick update. Ended up taking it to another Jeep dealership and they have diagnosed my issue with a bad ECH as well. Good news is that they are able to get the part next day. Only negative is that I had to take it to two dealerships to get it fixed.
edited: picked it up today after the...
That’s how my issues started as well. It’s now 100% all the time. Sure it’ll go into all electric after running for like 20 minutes, but only for a short period and it goes right back into cabin heating and cooling. I never had that issue last year. Mines going into a different dealership...
That sucks. I actually called another dealer today to take it in and have them the exact star case number. Hoping when I bring it in next week they can actually do something.
your right. I should just refuse and take a bunch of videos. I also pinged @JeepCares to help assist as well. Just want to make sure it’s running good you know? I’m at 25k miles so worried with the warranty coming up
Oh, I am having a bear of a time with this. Started back on 10/22. Took it to the dealership and they refuse to listen to me. They say its operating normally and cant get it to happen, however they wouldnt even do the exact steps to see the message. They just turned it on, and saw no message...
4xe so 2.0 turbo. Don’t do heavy rock crawling however I do end up going over enough that I just want to protect the bottom side. My biggest nemesis right now seems to be branched poking up and getting caught. Won’t solve that 100% but it’ll help.
Hi all. Looking to protect my underbelly from those pesky ? when I pick a bad line. Has anyone installed any skid plates? Price is a concern but not as bad as weight.
i did find some by Asfir but not sure on the brand or quality yet. @ASFIR4X4 do you have any deals or anything to sway a...
