Glad I found this thread, saved me the planning stage. Gonna build this soon for the upcoming summer season
Just one question, can anyone conform the spacing between the 1x2 and the bottom 2x4?
All the rest is quite clear! Thanks a bunch
Got a great deal on my Wrangler, never owned one before and overall I’m quite content with it. But if we’re making pie in the sky posts, I felt I needed to add my .02$
My 2dr is my first Jeep ever. I do love it. However, for my usage I would love a 10" longer 2 door, with slightly longer doors making rear seat access easier, more cargo room, split fold rear seats and hopefully with the longer chassis a 4Xe option. That would be my ideal Jeep. A man can wish !
Ok, so my luck has not changed...looked back the other night and noticed a crack in the passenger side hardtop glass! Like WTF
Called autobody repair shop this morning, they said they noticed it but just assumed I knew about it
Waiting to hear back from them now and how we can proceed
Happened to snap a pic(clean windshield) of the traffic yesterday after picking up my Jeep from the body shop.
This morning was a decently cold one and as I'm driving to an appointment, I hear a small crack...a few minutes later I see the newly formed crack in the windshield (dirty windshield)...
Yeah, what kind of advice was that to not use 4wd on a slippery hill???
Just keep in mind when in 4WD that you should be driving with more caution and more gradual turning and you'll be fine
I dropped off my 2020 this morning for an oil change and evaluation on the corrosion. 3 out of 4 hinges, the hood hinges and another spot random along the edge of the hood. Jeep is less than 3 years.
Service consultant told me that normally warranty applies to perforations, but I told him that...
Couldn't read through all 14 pages, but my only complaint about the 2.0 is the sound...it sounds horrible. Good power and great auto tranny.
My other ride is '17 Mustang GT manual, so jumping back and forth makes its even more evident as does cold winter mornings.
Dealer repaired seat. Re-used original part it was not damaged. They told me if they had to order it was a 3-4 month delay! Thankfully not. Hopefully it won't happen again ?
So after leaving this plasticky doohickey off for the last few weeks, the only downside was that when using the top handle to move the seat forward, when returning it would not automatically return to the original position, but was able to return to a normal position. All good!
Then this past...
Thanks this helped! My passenger seat was unable to slide back yesterday and I just ended up removing said black seat return latch. Aside from the new seat behaviour, any downside leaving it off?
