  1. What did you name your Jeep JL?

JollyWobbles. Jolly for short. PixelDecal is currently printing my second design for the Hood Decal. can't wait until it arrives.
  2. What are these sliding things on the Soft Top called?

This is a bit of a random question. These sliding parts on the JL softop windows, the tube bit that slides into another track tube bit. Is there a name for that particular type of hardware/fastener? I am working on a small project and that sort of attachment would work perfectly for what I...

  4. Outside of North America Sydney, Australia - JLU Black Hard top for sale!

Hi Everyone! When I bought my JLUR it came with the dual top option. I will likely never use my hardtop (I took it off and stored it within a week of having it) so I am putting it up for sale! yay! So if anyone wants a JLUR hardtop, freedom panel storage bags included let me know. I can...
  5. Has anyone seen a soft top window storage bag in Australia?

Haven't seen one either unfortunately.... I plan on making one soon... If it works I can upload how I did it... If I see one I'll make to link it here.
  6. Bits and Bobs for the Aussie JL

    Nope, from Chullora. :)
  7. Rubicon with steel bumper

Not at all, that wiring is pretty exposed even with the plastic plate. If you know you will never put it back on, you can take the plate off, mark and cut it down to give you the gap and then bolt it back on covering the back of the wires... it won't be any more waterproof but it might help...
  8. Rubicon with steel bumper

These are the four bolts. They are hex bolts 13/32s. take the four off from each side, remove the plastic and bolt them back in for safekeeping.
  9. Trailer hitch and wiring harness?

Let us know how it goes. I am still looking for a harness... I don't really need 2.5t but you never know...
  10. Rubicon with steel bumper

None whatsoever. I can take a photo of the location of the four bolts so you can ensure you remove the right ones :) I just bolted them back into place after removing the plastic. That way I won't lose them.
  11. Aussie spec headlights!!! Halo? No Halo? Automatic? what?

but to avoid vehicle import fees I will order the whole Jeep as individual spare parts.... spread over a couple thousand orders... I'll just assemble it in my garage. I am sure ExtremeTerrain will only rate that 2 out of 3 wrenches in difficulty...
  12. Aussie spec headlights!!! Halo? No Halo? Automatic? what?

Yeah see, I wouldn't want to lose the self levelling ability for the sake of the Halo.... But the fix seems simple. 1. Buy US headlights 2. Open US Headlights, remove LED Diodes. 3. Buy another pair of US Headlights. 4. Repeat step two, this time without breaking headlights. 5. Remove Aussie...
  13. Aussie spec headlights!!! Halo? No Halo? Automatic? what?

Oh is the US model also self levelling?
  14. Aussie spec headlights!!! Halo? No Halo? Automatic? what?

Thanks for the post! Saved me a ton of effort! Why on earth would they do this! It's something small really, but so sad! Especially as I can't see why they would do that? Unless specific countries have regulations against it and it the export is just a blanket spec for some things... At least...
  15. Aussie spec headlights!!! Halo? No Halo? Automatic? what?

Do you mean there aren't any LEDs in the physical light? It seems that there is a ring there... hmmm I might still have a look to see what can be done about this disgraceful situation lol. I haven't seen any adjustment buttons? Only the headlight switch and the dimming controls for the...
  16. Aussie spec headlights!!! Halo? No Halo? Automatic? what?

Yeah, Sometimes I just don't understand the logic in the things they do. I am wondering if there is any regulation about running the original daylights that they just couldn't meet for some reason... who knows, If I am lucky maybe I just need to add a fuse... or the wiring will be simple. I...
  17. Aussie spec headlights!!! Halo? No Halo? Automatic? what?

Question is, why disable them in the first place? I can't think of any laws that would prevent you from running all for driving lights... I'm in Sydney unfortunately, but I will take the headlight off and see how it's wired... It might just be a matter of wiring them in.
  18. Aussie spec headlights!!! Halo? No Halo? Automatic? what?

Hi all, So I've had my JL for a couple months now and the headlights (LED) still confuse me. They seem to be self adjusting (up and down) is this actually the case? no matter how close I am to cars in front of me my headlights seem to stop just under halfway up the car... I do remember seeing...
  19. Why did you buy a Jeep?

Wranglers have always been a dream car for me. One of two actually, back when I was little it was the idea of driving on sand or mud in the sun that make me love the idea. When I turned 16 (2009) and got my drivers license I was actually looking at TJs; trying to find an old one that I could...
