  1. TOYO TIRE OPEN COUNTRY A/T III (315/70/17) Reviews?

I sent a customer service request on their site on Monday, and haven't heard back. Tried calling and they're closed till next Monday. I will be beyond the 500mi "trial period" before they're back in the office, but hopefully they make it right. I noticed in the fine print that the "trial period"...
  2. JLUR Snow Tire Question

    Looks functional. I dig it
  3. TOYO TIRE OPEN COUNTRY A/T III (315/70/17) Reviews?

Agreed completely with all of the above. Which is why I am surprised at how much noisier this brand new set of ATs is compared to a 4000mi set of MTs. I've driven Jeeps since I got my license and have run old Firestone ATs, Duratracs, and Cooper ST Maxx on my TJ. Then, KO2s on my JLUR, Falken...
  4. TOYO TIRE OPEN COUNTRY A/T III (315/70/17) Reviews?

How do you think the noise level compares at 75-80mph? It has been awhile since I have driven on KO2s, I previously had the Falken MTs before these. I am actually surprised at how loud these get. The MTs were more of a "grumble" at speed where these "howl" at speed - especially at 75-80mph. Have...
  5. RPO list?

I have seen people request a "build sheet" that has all of that info on it
  6. Wrangler in the winter?

Ooooof, where did you find that?

For what its worth, I recently ordered a new side mirror for my wife's Subaru Crosstrek, and they asked for the VIN to verify fitment. This ended up being a good thing because shortly thereafter I got an email saying that I had selected the wrong PN, gave me the correct PN, and asked permission...
  8. Wire harness removal from frame

It should slide up or down, I forget which. The whole black part is on a clip
  9. New Tires: Open Country A/T III 285/75/17

So far so good, but I only have like 10mi on them. Much much quieter than the MTs and don't vibrate at low speed like the MTs which is to be expected.
  10. New Tires: Open Country A/T III 285/75/17

I don't have great pictures yet, but I got them mounted on my JTR. Note that the side pics I'm parked on a relatively steep downhill.
  11. New Tires: Open Country A/T III 285/75/17

I have a set that should be here tomorrow I'll be putting on a stock Gladiator Rubicon.
  12. Jeep OEM mudguards

Have you seen how many people but the RokBlokz and Weather Tech mudflaps on their jeeps? I fit a set of Rally Armor flaps on my JLUR.
  13. LED Headlight Fail - Winter Driving

Thank you for saving my breathe. I am tired of explaining this lol. I have found that it really depends on the type of snow that is falling, and the temp. Super dry snow and cold weather its fine. Warmer, wetter snow, sticks like glue.
  14. 37" tires. What is breaking?

I agree with that assessment. Neither led to catastrophic failure or anything, but both had to grab some chromo shafts. Hasn't happened again after some new shafts.
  15. 37" tires. What is breaking?

Rear axle shaft twisting seemed to be an issue with JKs as well. I know two people with JKURs that ran 37s for awhile then switched to 35s and both of them twisted splines and bent the flange where it meets the shaft.
  16. New Tires: Open Country A/T III 285/75/17

Might be waiting awhile, they continue to be on national back order :tumbleweed:
  17. Vehicle Specific Solar System - JL/Gladiator Rubicon Hood Solar Panel - Starting at $199

That is pretty slick...might be a good Christmas Gift for me :)
  18. Real Winter rated 37" tire (with the snow flake icon)

How many miles do you have on them? How is the harshness of the Load Range E compared to the stock KO2s?
  19. Real Winter rated 37" tire (with the snow flake icon)

It looks like they do. That is really surprising to find on a non-toptier tire.
