  1. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Just saw this through a FB post: Window auto up/down, and key fob control. The install video connected to the door side of the harness, but I would assume someone here can find a better place to tie in for us all? Price seems too reasonable for a Jeep...
  2. CB Radio

Midland is a great brand. Here are numerous good articles on GMRS:
  3. Question regarding the Windsheld defrost

Looking great! I will buy one or two. :)
  4. QTDDTOT: Questions that don't deserve their own thread

Here is a simple question. Where is the external temperature sensor that displays on the Radio? It must get covered in mud easily, as off-roading it often doesn't seem accurate. Thanks!
  5. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

So its been settled that the polarity is reversed? I did this a year ago and the consensus was it was correct?
  6. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

    What rail steps are those?
  7. Bag of stuff

Its the mat for the "in floor trunk". Keeps stuff from rattling.
  8. Let us hear that you want Core Doors!

I like them, said as much in the survey. I have been eyeing them up for over a year. Make a great present under the Christmas tree @Bestop

  10. Largest tires I can put on my stock Rubicon wheels?

Good to know guys, thanks!. I would like to run a 35" tire to separate me from the "Street jeeps", but over the past 2 years I have gone many places, the Rubicon performs just fine stock. I know if I get into bigger tires, I would have to do a lift, and new rims at the same time. Its just a...
  11. Largest tires I can put on my stock Rubicon wheels?

What brand tire? This is what I would like to do, eventually maybe have a 2" lift, but not right away. Need to make sure off-roading their is no rubbing. Guess a Rubicon has enough clearance.

  13. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

I did a double take, if your hood was blue I would have thought you were in my Jeep, between the Park pass and pillar light...
  14. HAM, CB, FRS, GMRS, Etc... what is your setup?

I am not @CoolTech either, but I am sure its for flexibility. My GMRS radio is on the 3rd brake light and I would need the extra cable.
  15. Advice on Mopar Snorkel

The vent tubes extend up about 18", and have one way air valves on them. But people do believe you should extend them up to top of engine, and up behind the rear tail light. Something I want to do someday, once I see a cool easy video showing me how. :)
  16. CB Radio - Handheld or Mounted & Hard Wired?

I think that is the exact bracket I used. The mount is plastic, the L-bracket came with self tap screws, but I didn't use them. I used some short machine screws, with a lock washer and nut on the inside (I even tossed some blue locktite on them :) ). I only had silver screws, just took a...
  17. Loving my ROAM frame-mounted side steps/rock sliders

I think you are right. But he called the bed lined version an upgrade as I was waiting on the rails to be shipped, he offered to upgrade to bed lined at no cost. Not much of an upgrade 1 year later. The bed liner can catch on rocks, so some damage I guess could happen, but I have seen bed...
  18. CB Radio - Handheld or Mounted & Hard Wired?

My setup has worked out great. Great reception, and out of the way antenna location. The wire goes inside the plastic channel running down from the 3rd brake light, then goes in through a grommet on the tailgate (same grommet my CB antenna wire is in). The CB antenna, being a two part...
  19. Loving my ROAM frame-mounted side steps/rock sliders

I have used them on the rocks many times. They definitely protect the body. I got the frame mounted version. Even have a slight dent in on the passenger side. That being said, I got the truck bed finish on them, and the finish is not holding up at all. In fact I just took pictures...
