  1. Anyone Have Feedback on Kanati Trail Hog Tires?

@blnewt - I bought one of them and had it shipped. I have to say it is really nice and the tread pattern definitely resembles the Goodyear Duratrac. I will pick up 4 more in the spring and will move up from 33" to 35".
  2. Which engine for Colorado passes?

I did it last month with no issues from Keystone to just west of Denver when I jumped on E470. Not sure what all the hub bub is about the 3.6L and the mountains...
  3. Rubicon Package as a $5k upgrade to any trim

37s...hmmm...if true along with 5.13's (about which I am extremely skeptical) from the factory would go a long way to limiting the ability of a dealer to negate your warranty because you are running "oversized tires".
  4. Which engine for Colorado passes?

I have the 3.6L and drove through most of the passes on I-70 with zero issues. I also spent some time on mountain trails above 9,000 feet with no problems. The ECM will adjust the system to compensate for the altitude.

  6. Expected Height Increase?

    Yes; indeed I do.
  7. Expected Height Increase?

Thanks, I am just concerned that it will be quite a bit more than 20.5". I may jack up that side to 21" and see what that does.
  8. Expected Height Increase?

I have been chatting with @Headbarcode about his lift and tires and the height of his sliders from the ground and thought that I would ask here too. On my stock Rubicon with 33" tires, it is 17" to the top of the ROAM slider step. Am I correct in assuming it will be +1" to move from 33" to 35"...
  9. Metalcloak Game Changer 2.5 or 3.5?

@Headbarcode - can you tell me the distance from the ground to your rock slider step when on level ground?
  10. Mother's CMX Products

LOL - that is me holding my phone over the hood to take the photo. You can see my fingers at the top left of the reflection.
  11. Mother's CMX Products

LOL - not sure which one you are looking at, but no boats were in the background.
  12. Anyone Have Feedback on Kanati Trail Hog Tires?

I edited the above post, the weight is really nice compared to my Falkens.
  13. Anyone Have Feedback on Kanati Trail Hog Tires?

@blnewt - I am almost positive those will be my next tires. Simple Tire has a set of 5 (315/70/17) for about $1,085 to the door. The other nice thing is they only weigh 2.1 pounds more than the 285/70/17 OEM Falkens I have now.

  15. Anyone Have Feedback on Kanati Trail Hog Tires?

I always like to look at different options that are not always mainstream simply to see what else is out there. I have used every major brand of tire at some point in my lifetime and there are good ones and bad ones as with anything else. I will be replacing my 33" tires in the near future and...
