  1. Poll: Did TSB 08-074-20 Fix Your Steering Issues?

Doesn't the diesel have a different ratio box? Maybe there is another PN that will be released for diesels.
  2. Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

2019 Granite Crustal JLUR. Noticed spots around hinges after a few months, bubbling is spreading around hinges on drivers side doors. I will wait until nearing end of warranty to hopefully buy me more time and to avoid multiple repaints. Hopefully FCA comes out with a real solution in the mean...
  3. Stock 2020 Rubicon Unlimited, going 35”, but need some advice (I’ve searched)

Running a narrower wheel decreases your chance of losing a bead as it increases pressure of the bead to wheel mating surface.
  4. Steering Service Bulletin Denied - Advice Please

No offense but all this will do is make you used to the dead spot.
  5. Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

Seems you have put more thought into this than FCA engineers have. It's really pathetic to have this problem (still. After many generations of Jeep hinge designs) along with many others. The doors have an internal beam coming unglued issue that causes clicking when opening and closing the doors...
  6. Loose steering feels like it has play and drifts

Good advice here. You can buy the mopar extended lower control arms for like $40 each (look around the forum for a link)and toss them on, made a noticeable tracking difference on our JLUR. It will not fix a dead spot though.
  7. Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

I have it on 2 doors so far, 2019 with 16k miles. I am planning on waiting until it develops on every hinged panel. My 2010 Nissan is corrosion free... My 2013 JK had it on the hinges themselves when I bought it in 2015. Those hinges were painted after assembly as well. How Jeep still has not...
  8. Loose steering feels like it has play and drifts

I am curious to see how you fare. I have my original box adjusted as well as it can be. There's maybe a 1/2 to 3/4 inch dead spot. Please update how the iron box compares to your adjusted original box, please and thanks!
  9. Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

Broooooooo. Hey bro, my brohammer. You two Broskis. So you guys are both saying bubbling paint on a 1 year old vehicle is normal and expected? The excuse is saying hey don't be mad at Jeep, ALL manufacturers are having this problem. Total cockamamie. My 10 year old Nissan in the driveway has 0...
  10. Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

Can you read bro? I will repeat myself for your benefit. " And manufacturers, Jeep or otherwise shouldn't be using aluminum if they can't control corrosion. There is no excuse for this. " To say that the only way to build cars today is to build them with materials that corrode "from the inside...
  11. Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

Are you dense bro. Jeep did not protect the gap between hinge and door in JKs. Look at pictures where they were removed. JLs should not have corrosion after less than 1 year where paint wasn't even scratched or nicked. And manufacturers, Jeep or otherwise shouldn't be using aluminum if they...
  12. Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

Yes I am aware. My point is hinge corrosion has been a Jeep problem for generations like I said. My JK started after 2 years in between the hinge flat and the door panel. The only way to have a corrosion free Jeep is to buy a new one every summer. Jeep doesn't know what they are doing.
  13. Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

This has been a Jeep thing for generations. JKs had it bad, a Google search will get you there. Seeing this on a new vehicle is disheartening. I've only had ours one winter and it wasn't driven much, and washed regularly.
  14. Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

My JK had it start on the hinges where it met the door. I bet if you remove a JL hinge it looks like this underneath.
  15. Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

This was very common on JKs and now I am scared to look at my 2019.
  16. Creaking Doors...anyone?

Built March 2019 here. Mine took a few months to start clicking though, its on 2/4 doors (so far).
  17. Poor factory paint on hardtop - anyone else?

FCA warranty dept should approve the repaint. I'd ask them to do it all the first time, the texture/color is difficult to match.
  18. yeti adjustable track bar

Rear track bar brackets are common, reusing the stock bar. Also, I do believe the rear bar is not affected as much as the front (swing radius) due to the axle mount being high on the axle tube in the rear, whereas the front axle side mount is at the front/bottom of the axle tube.
  19. ROAM Exo Cage - Exoskeleton Roll Cage

Awesome to see this in development. Excited to see a final product. It will increase noise though. One light bar makes a difference, this will be like adding 10.
  20. Poor factory paint on hardtop - anyone else?

I had issues at the hinges and at tops of the rear windows on my textured hardtop. They had a body shop repaint the back clamshell, then the freedom panels didn't match, so they painted those too. Annoying to deal with but it looks good now.
