  1. Happy Wednesday!!! Let's see those ? Ice/ Snā„w photos!!!

Pennsylvania Laurel Highlands. My one ton was clean in the shop so I figured why not try the jeep with the sled trailer. I was honestly impressed with it even though itā€™s a 10 minute drive! 37ā€™s. 4.56s.

?. Thanks! Iā€™ve had a few and am picky with this one. Iā€™m also the guy that will go wheeling and immediately detail it ??ā€ā™‚ļø. Bead lock rings were scratched within 3 days of ownership!

They truly are very capable out of the box. I think Iā€™ve found a happy place with it for awhile with longer lcaā€™s, longer bilsteins, 3ā€ springs (wasnā€™t a huge fan of the spacers) longer sway bar links and a track bar on 37ā€ mickeys. Only thing that sucks is it doesnā€™t look like thereā€™s any...
  4. Shakedown run for new 2024 Wrangler Rubicon X

Nice ride! My rubi x is 2 months old and already on 37ā€™s with an additional 1.5ā€ of lift (3ā€ springs) I ordered a new C8 and drove it for 6 months before I was over it! Lol. These jeeps are a blast.

Thatā€™s about what Iā€™ve come up with in my research as well. Iā€™ve upgraded to longer and stiffer shocks, as well as the lcaā€™s. Next step at whatever point is adjustable sway bar links/track bars along with longer springs, just doing my research on exactly what Iā€™d want for those. for now, Iā€™m...
  6. XTREME RECON Edition JL Club Thread

Yeah, Iā€™m looking into something like that or springs. I have the longer Lcaā€™s coming so Iā€™m good there, I think at that lift Iā€™d have to get adjustable track bars and some longer sway bar links.

Mickey Thompson 37ā€™s in and on. Rides great even for taking some balancing weight. Slight trimming of the bumper and zero front rub, rear, well we already know 37ā€™s will rub on the pinch weld coverā€”ā€”I may mess with that further down the road. .75ā€ spacer and longer bilsteins for now.
  8. ANVIL Wrangler JL Club

I have to get out there, hopefully next fall weā€˜ll be In and somewhat settled, depending how big of a project we buy ( looking at lake houses ??) the better half let me order 37s, said better do it now bc all your money will be gone next year ??
  9. ANVIL Wrangler JL Club

Currently in Pennsylvania but making the move to the UP next spring/summer.

Went with .75 spacers all the way around and found a smokin deal on some Bilsteinā€™s for lifted applications. Very happy with the ride (I prefer the stiffer bilstein damping). Now Iā€™m looking at 37ā€™s ???. will be moving to the Upper Peninsula next year so a 3peak tire is somewhat mandatory...
  11. ANVIL Wrangler JL Club

Bought mine before the july 4th weekend. Immediately drove it 800 miles to the Upper Peninsula and went wheeling. 2.0 turbo. 35 Xtreme. No extra Bs. Extremely happy with it.

Thanks for the insight. My dad has a high tide and we were just discussing this very idea. With the long distance move coming in the spring, Iā€™ve put a hold on large mods but might just have to go this route. also a good call on upgraded shocks, Iā€™ve done the foxā€™s in the past and what a...

It was something I noticed and kind of rolled my eyes at. I knew it wasnā€™t the mopar full height etc but figured it would have more travel than it does. Oh well. Weā€™re moving here in the spring, so Iā€™ve self imposed a no dumb purchases clause until we do lol. Always something with jeeps...
  14. XTREME RECON Edition JL Club Thread

Hereā€™s something for this group to ponder. Does anyone know the actual differences between the lift on the recon packages vs the mopar 2ā€? Aside from the obvious longer springs and shocksā€¦.. lower control arms/sway bar links the same Out doing some simple wheeling now with a winch and bumper...
  15. XTREME RECON Edition JL Club Thread

No hate comms on the spacers, have a bora set sitting on my shelf for a bronco. If I go 37ā€™s Iā€™d probably go MT and just get another set of wider offset wheels so I can swap for winter.
  16. 2024 Order Waiting Room

2024 mopar brake controller. Ok kids, jeep doesnā€™t drill the holes for the brake controller mount in the aluminum frame under the dash anymore. Real blast doing that lol. But the mopar brake controller does work on the 24sā€¦.if you can get it. Oh and make sure the factory plugged all the trailer...

Letā€™s see those 37ā€™s from a side shot! Interested in how the fit no lift, Iā€™m sure thereā€™s spring differences but, you might be on to something haha
  18. A Trailer Towing Tail (Vorsheer XOC)

Excellent write up and info sir. I along with others are watching this weighing (??) the pros and cons of the smaller trailers. The better half and I just went and looked at Xtreme outdoors little guy trailers. Specifically the micro max as we live 5 mins from the factory. Nice trailers but...

So Iā€™m mad at myself for the after pic. Lol. Im a detail guy and my camera wasnā€™t horizontal with the tape in the second pic ??. Itā€™s 3/8ā€ if weā€™re being technical. Weā€™ll see how it settles out, but down the road I could see a lift with some HD springs. No bumper in the backā€¦.yet lol. Im...
