I've ran both tires, unfortunately not on the same rig. So no direction comparison.
As far as an MT goes, the Falken does pretty good in packed snow on the hwy. Probably not as good as a good AT. But on my fiberglass bodied, v8 equipped CJ5, they were better than any other MT I ran. And in the...
@SadRobot Next time you are stuck and having trouble getting it into gear, you might try turning the motor off. Slip it in gear and then restart the motor.
Or sometimes a little rocking motion/movement of the vehicle works.
Wendy's fries dipped in their chocolate Frosty!!!
I'm down to taste test and see if that's a true statement about your burger.
Killer Burger's peanut butter pickle bacon burger is my favorite hamburger. Their fries are pretty good too.
@SadRobot good job on the trip report. Looks like a fun...
Your not setting a real high bar with McDs.
I was just messing with you about the infatuation of In N Out. I've seen your pictures of meal times on your camping adventures.
You maybe an all time Google reviewer, but your infatuation with In n Out has me on the OUTS with your reviews. 😎
Few years back we were in the Phoenix area visiting family and friends. Stopped at one of those places, and we'll probably never go back. After all the hype, very disappointing...
They said that they had all 3 set to the same pressure.
That was one of my points in my comparison of the KO2 and at3w. The Falkens in my experience need to run 3 or 4 psi lower.
I'm sure we'll see more comparisons soon enough.
I was thinking that a set in 285/75r17 C rated was destined to go...
Like @Ratbert already said. The "not a direct comparison" was in that I have experience with the previous generation of the tires. Not the current ones they tested.
I'm still skeptical of their results.
Ha, that was my first thought also.
@SadRobot
Took my boys to Moab and we stopped by the Bonneville Salt Flats on the way down. It had recently rained and there was a lake at the end of the access road. I had already been warned that it can become bottomless mud if wet. So we barely pulled out...
Not a direct comparison, but I've ran the KO2 and several sets of AT3W on a few different rigs.
We only got 40k out of the ko2s on our JLURD and they were shot. They were pretty sketchy in the rain and snow for the last 10k or so.
I took the AT3W off my JTRD at 40k and put them on the JLURD...
Good for you.
My daughter was never into working on cars, but I made sure she knew how to check the fluids under the hood and change a flat.
It paid off several times, once when her BF got a flat and she had to change it for him. Once when one of her friends got a flat and the cop that stopped...
You could always get one of these for hauling smaller stinky things...

I used a similar one to haul trash cans or fuel jugs with my old CJ5 for years.
We have both.
Wrangler has more dry storage.
Gladiator has more wet storage.
Sure you can get a tonneau cover or canopy for the Gladiator, but do you want to.
Even with the Gladiator, I still use a trailer some what regularly.
We've had our share of pickups, as well as our share of times with...
I hate to tell you, but your wrong again. JLs and JTs have solid front axles. The only real way the camber is changing, is if you change the camber sleeve where the ball joints mount. Sure you could argue that camber changes with axle articulation, but that is trivial at best.
Caster will change...
Since the JT and JL use a tie rod that goes from one steering knuckle directly to the other steering knuckle the toe in and toe out doesn't ever change.
You might be confusing toe with caster.
