I'll agree with Hi-Lift. I've had one for nearly 30 years now and it's only been used for stuff around the house (pulling up fence posts mostly) and once to pop the bead on a motorcycle tire. I have never even had it near my JL.
The first thing I'd check is the status of the ESS system in the in the gauge cluster. Use the left up down arrow on the steering wheel to page through the menus. it's menu 6 I think and would give you a status. there are a ton a reasons for it not being active from battery state to hear on...
Yours doesn't look lifted to me. I used to get a lot of people asking if mine was lifted when it was stock, but it wasn't.
this is it stock.
this is it with a 3/4" spacer lift and 315/70R17 tires and wider wheels.
The Forward Camera which would include the washer as part of it is part of the Technology Package on the Sahara and Rubicon. Standard on the Rubicon X, & 392.
That link you posted is to the WL forum. WLs (WL74 and WL75) are the current model Grand Cherokee. Yes, those have a rear camera...
Gas thieves just pop or drill a hole in the plastic gas tanks now if they want to steel it. Too much trouble to go through the filler neck with anti-siphon protection in it.
As far as someone spiking gas with something, I've heard stories, but never had 1st or 2nd hand knowledge of it...
5-1/2 years with leather on my JLUR seats. Very happy with it. Leather was $1,495 then
It can get hot with the top off, but they cool off pretty quick. I do have some seat covers made out of towels that I'll throw on them when it's really hot out.
Easy to clean and maintain.
2021 model year was the first year.. not sure when you could actually get one. My neighbor waited 18mo to get a Night 1 reservation 2dr hard top Badlands. The hard top kept delaying his.
While they needed some tugs and to pick lines a few times, it shows you don't need to throw a bunch of mods at a Jeep to have a good time. My advice to folks with a new one is to take it out and try it to see where it's lacking, then figure out your list. Too many act like if you you aren't...
When we were looking at new vehicles for my wife earlier this year, she really wanted a Bronco. In the end, she decided it was too much the same type of vehicle as my Wrangler and that it didn't make sense. After test driving a few Bronco's and assorted other SUV/CUVs, she decided against it...
It's been two fold for me. I probably have more than I should ever consume plus the stores wanting secondary prices. I've all but given up on hunting and backed off on consuming. There's a market correction already happening. To-Kill-Ya is on the rise with those that want to be the cool kids.
