All I can say is the charging system/software sounds like it could be different on your diesel. The data in the original post of this thread holds true for standard JL ICEs. The dash voltage displayed will be all over the range from high 11s to 14.5v in a regular drive depending on the scenario...

The recall was not on every 3.5" IPC manufactured. Only a specific manufacturer dates / series.
