  1. Which headlight do you prefer?

I'm going to say none. If you could house them in something that looks close to OEM, then I might change my mind.

  4. Vandalism Keying Repair!? Looking for Recommendations

Years back, I bought a new Ford Lightning pickup truck, black. I had it for a couple of months, and went to a store 20 miles from where I live. I parked in a proper space, at least 15-20 spaces away from the nearest vehicle. I was in the store for less than 15 minutes. When I came out, there...
  5. JL sounds like a diesel!

Unknown what the outcome was on this Wrangler. The OP disappeared a month after posting this thread, 5 yrs ago. But, mine was making that noise, until I switched to 5w-30 oil, a long while back.

  11. Hurricane Wrangler

I've been looking at dealership websites, for Ram 1500 pickup trucks. It seems all the 2025 models come with that engine, that I have seen. They are "Discounted" to around $45k-$55k. The engine numbers look good with 420hp, and 460 ft/lb . But, the tow ratings suck, at around 5,600 lbs. Maybe...

What are the engine weights of the 4.0 Hurricane, and the 392 ??
  14. Hurricane Wrangler

It seems most of the Ram 1500's are getting the 3.0 Hurricane 420hp, in my area. No reason they can't shoehorn it in a JL. A little creative engineering might do it. Maybe split up the radiator. Or, just relocate it. It doesn't have to be in the front. Or, just bring back the 4.0 from my 1998...

  19. Looking to replace stock oil drain plug, anyone use any aftermarket plugs?

There has always been the "What If It Hit A Rock" crowd, but, I have never seen of heard of it happening. Just get the short one, that doesn't rotate around, and it shouldn't be a worry.
