  1. 2025 Jeep Wrangler buying advice

What the dealer wants and gets are two different things. If you insist on buying local then at a minimum you need to shop around at other local dealers and get things in writing. You don't need to walk into each one either unless you enjoy wasting time sitting around and playing numbers games...
  2. Best 35 inch tire for smoother ride on road?

Do you ever hit the trails with those street wheels?
  3. JKS Venture Lift Kit

Plenty of hills and off-roading areas in Big Bend. Be sure to camp at Chisos Basis if you get the opportunity.
  4. NOW AVAILABLE! New FOX 2.5 Non-Remote Reservoir Shocks

The Fox Roost guards that fit the 2.0 IFP might fit the 2.5.
  5. What’s the reservoir adjuster on Fox ATS SS?

FWIW the OP is not asking about the actual slotted adjuster.
  6. 2024 base audio head unit have sub RCA outs?

I use an Audio Control LC2i and tap into the full range output near the obd2 connector. There are cheaper loc's out there if you don't want to spend the extra cash.
  7. Washington AEV ProCal Snap

@Left Field I sent you a message as I am fixing to get 35" tires.
  8. Synergy JL/JT bolt replacement kit - -rear lca bolts

https://www.synergymfg.com/pdf/8850-XX-INST-A.pdf Any idea why Synergy is using smaller rear lca bolts and recommends you torque to 130 ft-lb instead of 190 like the front?
  9. When did you bail on OEM shocks? And why.

I had 31K on my stock Rubi shocks. No leaks, but I always thought they were a little soft. 3 years ago I bought Fox 2.0's from Northridge, and they just sat on the shelf in the garage this entire time. Last week it was time to swap the shocks. Overall I am pleased with the slightly firmer ride...
  10. When did you bail on OEM shocks? And why.

My 2020 still had the old style round bolt (6510774AA). I believe the change started with 2021's.
  11. Fox ATS 2.0 reservoir position

The reservoir is closest to the axle housing at full right turn, but there's still roughly 1/2" of clearance.
  12. Wrangler JL plastic rivet sizes

I saw those Amazon rivets referenced that you linked to, but they have a 17mm head size. 98% of my rivets have a 13mm head. If I had those extensions, or I needed to replace all of my rivets, then I'd use the 17mm ones.
  13. Wrangler JL plastic rivet sizes

I had my passenger side fender liner replaced under warranty a few years ago when it came undone while driving and shredded a good portion of the inner section. I just noticed that one plastic rivet was loose on the lower inner edge of that replaced liner, and a light tug broke it loose. I...

  15. Plastic Rivets and tool

Sorry to bump and old thread, but this was the #1 search result for my query. I saw an Amazon review stating they were 4 mm smaller, but I think JK's might use 17mm head rivets.
  16. Fox ATS 2.0 reservoir position

Are there any issues (besides potential rock crawl damage) mounting the ATS reservoir pointing at the axle instead of tilted up & diagonally to clear the trackbar on a stock JLUR lift? Pic for reference.
  17. Fox Shocks 2.0 IFP Roost Shield Kit question

There's not much clearance on the top of the roost when facing forward on the front shocks. It's really close (1/2" or so) to hitting the top rear of the shock tower. I'm beginning to think these are only meant for the rear.
  18. Fox Shocks 2.0 IFP Roost Shield Kit question

Just to confirm the closed side of the shield with Fox logo faces towards the front of the vehicle on both front and rear shocks once installed, right?
  19. 2021 Rubicon 3.6l Shocks hard as a rock

I never stated they would. Did you mean to quote the OP?
  20. 2021 Rubicon 3.6l Shocks hard as a rock

If the shocks get replaced under warranty I'd still buy/install a set of Fox shocks and keep the reds as a spare.
