  1. Are Wrangler discounts off MSRP the highest they’ve ever been?

I started shopping for my Wrangler in the Summer of 2023. All of my local dealers were at MSRP and laughed at the mere suggestion of a discount. They were still high from the days of Covid mark ups and said I should be grateful to be able to buy at MSRP. I ended up ordering a 2024 from...
  2. Body Protection Ahead Rear Fenders

I would try a set of front Rokblokz for $85. Should do the job on dirt roads and easy thumb screw to remove when you hit the trail. I'm going to order a set for mine...
  3. Crack in my windshield, what is vest replacement

I have a '24 with the GG and integrated antenna. I heard this windshield is in excess of $1K and insurance won't cover it w/ standard glass coverage? I'm thinking about jumping on the Black Friday 20% off deals. Would you guys go Racing Optics or Exoshield or another? Racing Optics looks...
  4. Best Deals to Buy for Black Friday 2024

Anyone see any BF deals on tires? Looking to purchase 5 BFG K03's.

  6. New to Jeep. Audio ?

Let me start by saying I'm not an audiophile. But, the stock speakers in my '24 Willys seem to really lack power when the windows and SOT are open. I like the idea of the HK plug and play speakers that @dayusmc recommended, but All Mopar Parts says these won't fit my '24 Willys. Is that true?
  7. Why is there no dead pedal???

@813 Fabrication & Design Jeremy - I know there's not a lot of room, but can you make one for us 6MT owners who want a dead pedal?
  8. Why is there no dead pedal???

When I'm not shifting, I rest my foot to the left and behind the clutch pedal. It feels strange without a dead pedal there like I have in every one of my other vehicles (including 3 MTs).
  9. Why is there no dead pedal???

Maybe just the top section of this amazon dead pedal could work behind the clutch pedal?
  10. Why is there no dead pedal???

I would love a dead pedal on my 6MT Willys - does anyone make one?
  11. Best 35 inch tire for smoother ride on road?

I've had 10 yrs on 33" BFG K02's in all weather conditions. I was pissed when Jeep bait and switched my Willys from BFG K02's when I ordered to Falken Wildpeak MTs when I picked up. The Falken mud tires are quieter than I expected, but not as quiet as KO2's (MT vs. AT). I will likely switch...
  12. 2024 JLUR with slight hesitation

I'm at sea level. I generally upshift at 3k rpm. When I push in the clutch, the rpms drop to 1K so when I let out the clutch and lightly accelerate I get the hiccup at 1300 rpm and/or 1700 rpm. For some reason, the 1700 rpm is happening less consistently than before. I get the hiccup every...
  13. Ocracoke Island trip

We've been vacationing in OBX for the last several years. Ocracoke is a real gem. Loved riding over on the Ferry and finding seclusion on the beach. Water is quite a bit warmer than north OBX too! Now that I've replaced the Land Cruiser with the '24 Willys, looking forward to creating new...
  14. Best 35 inch tire for smoother ride on road?

BFG KO2's for the quietest AT tire. Those wheels look like 20's? It would ride much better on 17 or 18's allowing for a tire with more sidewall...
  15. Baxter Performance Oil filter Adapter on Pentastar 3.6

What viscosity oil are you going to use?
  16. 2024 JLUR with slight hesitation

Cheapest 2024 392 across the whole country on cars.com is $77K. As much as I'd love one for the sheer grin factor, it's not worth double the value of my rig.
  17. Baxter Performance Oil filter Adapter on Pentastar 3.6

Great vid roanie - thx for posting. Basically validates the Baxter will help prevent wear at start-up using low viscosity oils like 0W-20 or 5W-20. If you want to run 20W-50, no need to pre-fill the oil filter :) Wonder what he'll do with his daughter's Toyota that calls for 0W-8?!
  18. 2024 JLUR with slight hesitation

Some people seem to love the 2.0T. Not me.
  19. 2024 JLUR with slight hesitation

Well, went to test drive a 2.0T auto in the same exact spec as my '24 Willys (w/ V6 6MT) That motor is just so uninspiring. I can't live with that 4cyl feel and sound. I'll take my stuttering Pentastar over that thing any day.
