I was on call connected on bluetooth and after turning off the engine I switched the option to connect to my iphone. But after getting down, the Uconnect still stays on. Even after the call is completed it shows on call and it hangs up and none of the buttons seemed to work. I had to turn off/on...
Might be overwhelming with too many but some would look good.
Great idea John. I'd put foam noodles or some kind of padding around the welded tubes to protect the hard top paint.
Finally no rain and I could try it out. This is what I bought as it had everything and fairly priced. I'm 85% satisfied with it. :)
Similar results as Joe mentioned, I still see it but very minimal and I feel the crack won't spread...
I had it on my 4Runner for 4 yrs (bumper and partial hood) and no air bubble or discoloration at all even after many washes. I think the key is the installation and the PPF you use. I'm not sure if it was XPEL as it came preinstalled but worked out great.
They're perfectly fine and you could hardly know if it's there. I've marked it where it ends (about 1/2" less then the total glass) but not at all noticeable. The glare or lines/circle you see are just the reflection from inside and outside.
Here's mine. I didn't get whole coverage as the installer suggested that's where you're going to get any abuse which I thought made sense.
Hood - Partial (till the highest point)
Grill - Whole
Fenders - Partial (half way to the top)
Hinges - bought it from someone here on the forum.
I've the 13" on mine, Antenna X. Looks good and no issues with washes too but as couple of posts suggested, there's definitely some loss of reception I noticed on few channels which worked just fine with the factory ones so I'll be switching to a longer one, like 15" or more.
Not at all. I tried with the soap spray and it worked out great as it made it easy to move it around and then used the credit card to push the soap water out. 10-15 mins. for someone like me who never put a decal before :)
Have a great recovery :like:
Change of heart at the last minute and went with Mastercraft Courser as these are D rated vs STT Pro which is E. Most of my driving is street so decided to go with it. Happy with it and didn't add any lift. STT Pro are sweet as well but never drove with it so no experience.
