  1. I can’t freakin decide! HELP!

I too am in this club. I’ve had a Camaro, Corvette and Mustang. Living in a state where it snows I used to pray I’d make it home from work on snowy days. My Jeep has made my driving experience as fun as my first car that I got at 16 years old. Snow unless measured in feet is no longer an issue...
  2. Do all rubicons have 4:1 transfer case?

Not sure Joe but you live in Maui? You lucky dog I live in hell
  3. Wrangler in the winter?

I have to agree. I have the auto climate. I set it for 68 and leave the fan on low speed, I put my jacket or sweatshirt in the back seat and usually drive with a short or long sleeve shirt. The Jeep’s super comfortable to me. I think once last winter my wife said she was cold. I just raised the...
  4. Powered side steps

I'm so sorry Arnold. I didn't do the install. I'm not sure of any install details.
  5. Happy Thanksgiving!

I’m a day late but same here my friends.
  6. Sick of tire shine products

Update, I washed the Jeep this past week and due to cold weather I used McGuires tire shine in stead of Tuf Shine Which seems to be a more professional product. I sprayed it on sparingly and spread it with a sponge applicator. No sling at all
  7. You know your wife is cool when she....

I love this post! Christmas morning is a blast in our house because of our cats. My wife is obsessed with being neat so every Christmas morning we go through the same ritual. As soon as the first present is torn open, I have to stop her from bagging the paper and insist the wrapping paper remain...
  8. Is it too much to ask?

I don’t think it’s that crazy. It is in effect your new toy. Although it’s true what others have said about dealer prep. My Jeep came in while I was on vacation. I came home on a Sunday, drove to the closed dealership but got to see my new baby on the lot still wrapped. It was exciting.
  9. Wrangler in the winter?

TT, if it’s not too late, in your budget and you have somewhere to store the hard top. Consider the duel top option. You’ll love driving around the countryside with that Jeep open. When I ordered my first Jeep, the open top was secondary to me. Top open/doors off quickly become the most awesome...
  10. Wrangler in the winter?

Excellent point Michael. I’m amazed when I start my Jeep the temperature gauge starts to climb before the idle kicks down to normal. My work truck (Isuzu diesel) is completely opposite. In winter I have to drive a couple of miles before the gauge starts to rise.

Hi Julie, how are you feeling these days? I hope well and strong. Happy Thanksgiving to you guys.
  12. Centerforce Clutch Installed on JL Rubicon

Is the clutch slipping during that noise? If so don’t worry you’ll be installing a new one soon.
  13. Sick of tire shine products

Luckily when I do get sling it comes right off on the next wash. I washed my Jeep yesterday. The first new one I want to try is the Tuf Shine cleaner and applicant. This one was recommended by Chocolate Thunder (thank you buddy). The only problem was it was 34 degrees here in NYC yesterday. The...
  14. any issues with 2018 models?

Wow Evan, those are some sloppy welds. I’m surprised being the welds are done by robots.
  15. You know your wife is cool when she....

Hahaha no my friend she didn't buy it or "give me permission". I'm the breadwinner in this household so what I say goes. With that being said she's really cool though. I don't get crap for going upstate with the guys or buying anything. In turn I'm good to her too. She likes Casino's, I could...
  16. Two Years of Wheeling, 32 badge trails 39,000+ miles, a short report out on trail damage and general observations.

Ted, what can I say, you and your wife are living life. I love it. Best of luck my friend.
  17. US-UK rear light conversion

Hi Rob, good luck on your new endeavor. I’m sorry I don’t know about the signal light situation. I’m curious if it’s going to feel weird driving on the left side of the vehicle and left side of the road. I went to London in 2009 and rented a car. It took a lot of concentration just to drive. I...
  18. 15,000 mile service?

I’m embarrassed to admit this but on my first Jeep/dealership I let them do that “fuel system flush” at a 10,000 mile oil change and check up. It was hundreds of dollars. How much gunk can be built up at 10,000 miles? My fault, lesson learned. Part of the reason I used a different dealer for my JL.
  19. Stolen personal items

Yea I’m not gonna lecture the OP for his mistake. He’s already being punished. Here in NY we have tough gun laws so I have to travel to/from upstate with the gun in a locked box. No ammo in the box. If we stop at a restaurant I just bring it in with me and keep it on the floor between my feet...
  20. You know your wife is cool when she....

Now now Ken, one thing I’ve always said is “there’s someone for everyone”. I know you’re a good person and somewhere out there is a good woman. You’re probably just working too much. I think I speak for most of the guys in this room...we love our wives but it’s not always peaches and cream...
