Guess it's just two different view points. For me, the jeep tows it great and I'm confident the drivetrain can handle it. I have an awesome brake controller. I know how to drive when towing. I'm sure its bumping the max but I'm good with it.
Even if I weighed and was a little over (worst case...
Thanks, it's a fun zippy little car. Good acceleration and great handling. Plus it seems to like going 85-90 without effort. I don't know the top speed but its but it cuises! .. I've read with a tune the little turbo has a lot to give but I'm going to do my best to keep it somewhat stock since...
Above posts are true.
I have the load distribution hitch, anti sway, trailer brakes, etc. I can say, I dont get blown around by semi trucks, it isn't scary to stop, really no worries besides the size of the gas tank.
I ended up with the 24ft rear bath pictured above.
Seemed to be high build quality inside and out (I live in it 5-8 months a year with work).
Dual axels (better towing stability, I pull from TX to TN-AL-CT-VA-ETC.)
The gray matched my JL well (I'm OCD like that)
Big-ish rear bathroom...
Hey all! I bought another car. Still love and have the JL but wanted something to run around the city in that is zippy with good gas mileage. Turns out the Civic SI fits the bill great. 38mpg hwy. 6 speed. Feels fast since I'm used to the JL on 35s.
Really like the car, 200hp Turbo, super cheap...
Long story short, fully loaded (max rated towing capacity) my Rubicon on 35s gets [email protected] and [email protected] in the hills on 20 between Texas and Tennessee.
Easy 3 hours between fillups.
This JL just keeps impressing me!
