  1. Sourgrass trail run, early June

The one day trip works best for us. We are definitely in if it’s the first weekend.
  2. Sourgrass trail run, early June

Are you looking at camping up there, hence the two days? Or just planning on doing the trail in one day? I am very interested, but only on June 6-7. That's if my son can get out of work on the 6th.....
  3. Can plastic splash guard on standard JL bumper be replaced?

From what I've read on this forum, everyone likes the Asfir products. This does not look like it extends far enough downward or rearward from the frame horns to really provide any protection to the steering linkage. I don't know of any bumper skid (or anything else on the market) that provides...
  4. Can plastic splash guard on standard JL bumper be replaced?

Here's a better look from the front. It's designed to protect the electronic sway bar disconnect. But because I'm still stock height, it does cover the area directly in front of drag link. If I was lifted, this area would be more exposed. Nothing is really going to protect the tie rod/drag...
  5. Can plastic splash guard on standard JL bumper be replaced?

I don't know for sure. But if you're looking to add a steel skid for your plastic front bumper, take a look at the M.O.R.E. steel skid plate. I just put this skid plate on mine. It took me longer to take the POS stock plastic and thin metal skid off than to install the MORE unit. Took a...
  6. Looking for side mirrors for door-less driving. Soooo many options out there

I use the Doubletake mirrors. Easy to install and absolutely no shaking, vibration, or movement in the mirrors at highway speeds (tested myself at 90 mph...LOL).
  7. AFE SCORCHER GT Performance Package Air Intake

For Northridge 4x4, use the code: JLWRANGLERFORUM
  8. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

On my pretty much stock 19 JLUR, installed the M.O.R.E. bumper skid plate (replaced the POS plastic and thin metal one) and Mopar door sill guards.
  9. Warn VR EVO 10S & Warn Plate Install Pics

Like a winch cover? I don't use one as my Jeep is in the garage. Regardless, with the stock steel bumper, the winch sits between the frame rails and the synthetic line is completely covered by the winch and bumper. The only reason I would consider a cover is if my winch sat on top of the...
  10. 33s vs 35s? (First lift and Larger Tire purchase)

The 90 series springs go in rear and 60's go in front. From what I've seen, the larger of the two numbers (say a 61 and 62 front springs) goes on the passenger side to compensate for the weight of the fuel tank. I haven't seen any side to side difference in shocks.
  11. MOJITO! Wrangler JL Club

They had the one I bought and one with the skytouch roof. Wife didn't like that since she couldn't run around topless (for the Jeep at least ).
  12. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Installed the Mopar front LCA's on my stock 19 JLUR. Wandering is now gone due to the better caster. Haven't measured the new caster yet, but can definitely tell a difference with the better steering feel.
  13. MOJITO! Wrangler JL Club

    Yep, sure did!
  14. NorCal Wheeling, Camping, Recovery

Thanks Scott for picking out a great trail run. It was great getting to meet everyone and enjoy the wonderful sights! Garrett and I had an awesome time and will definitely be looking forward to making the drive for more of your trail runs.
  15. NorCal Wheeling, Camping, Recovery

    See you guys there
  16. Stock alloy wheels vs steel wheels on lease return

I leased a Nissan for my daughter years ago and it had to be inspected before turning it in. Nissan gives you a 30 day window (from when the lease ends) to get it inspected, do any repairs identified in the inspection, and get it re-inspected for turn-in to dealer. I would bet that the people...
  17. Arizona FS - 2019 Rubicon Mopar 3-Piece Steel Bumper w/LED Fogs $725

You don't have a price listed....
  18. Need Anything Else - Synergy track bar and Brace

I like the Rock Krawler and Metalcloak stuff. Clayton and Currie Johnny Joint arms are also very good. Those are the four manufacturers I have experience with (RK on my 18 JLUR) and am looking at for my 19 JLUR.
  19. Need Anything Else - Synergy track bar and Brace

My opinion is aftermarket front LCA's should be at the top of your list, along with a front adjustable track bar. If you didn't have a lift on your Rubicon, then the Mopar LCA's would be perfect. But with the lift, the Mopar LCA's aren't quite long enough to give you enough caster. The LCA's...
  20. What did you do WITH your Jeep today.

I think this is the picture where I'm explaining to him how much my daughter means to me.........
