Sunrider followed by Genesis Dual Battery System as they get used constantly. Afterwards, it would likley be the Original version LoD Sliders and Front Bumper, as they protect the body and allow for a winch.
I did a 4th refill after making sure it was warm (same as last time), but this time it took another 1/2qrt.
Problem solved. Thankfully it was a simple fix. Thanks for the reply as it made me double/triple guess myself 😉
Legit, the hurricane just came through last night and took.out our back...
Just did this service for my 2018, but now there is a rattle when it shifts gears.
No vibrations or hesitation in changing gears, but the rattle (kinda like a loose piece of metal in a jar/can) is present from gear 2-8 at shift points (Nothing in Reverse or Neutral).
I pulled the pan to make...
Color is scientifically proven to increase performance in all situations. Not having good color coordination will severely impact your vehicles mechanical components in a detrimental manner.
For example, if you have an Orange Jeep, but have a Yellow and Red Offroad Jack; it just won't work! No...
I have a modest 2" lift on my JLUR and I've been running the Rock Krawler Adjustable Front Sway Bar Links for many years, and they've been great, but they are way overkill for my platform and put the Sway Bar at a 30deg angle (upward) at their smallest length.
So, today I swapped them out for a...
Potted my 2018 years ago and it's never failed me sense.
It's an easy process overall and much better than having a failure point waiting to cause trouble again in one of the diffs.
That's truly a shame. I love my LOD sliders and bumper, but they were purchased back between 2018 and 2019.
I'm not too sure I'd give them my business now if that's how they're treating customers and their product assurance is as bad as the reports make it seem.
*Addition/Edit: I would 100%...
The other trails leading down the valley to the river are amazing as well if you have the time.
That's a local treasure of an area. Hopefully people continue to use it with respect and it can be enjoyed for a long while yet.
For what it's worth, I figured I'd add my multi-year review of the system.
Tldr; I love it.
Detailed review:
I ran the 1st gen for almost a full two years, and I've ran the new 2nd gen now for a little over a year now I think without issue.
I've had my solar system hooked up to a Victron...
I'm sure it's already been suggested, but to the OP it may be time to consider purging the Jeep with righteous fire, as once infested there's no recovery.
As a FL resident, I have learned to live with spiders. Even if they do spend their lives hiding... planning... plotting... waiting for the...
All in all the install took me about 5hrs solo. That's going very slowly and being overly OCD.
I also had to custom fab some bolts as Mishimoto sent too many long bolts and not enough short ones. So, dremel to the rescue :)
Appreciate all the tips. I did try to burp the system post install, just because I'm used to doing that on older vehicles. I didn't really have any way of knowing if the system had purged any air left in it to be honest though.
I let her run and topped it off when needed over the course of a...
Thanks for the tip. I'll plan on it.
I've got a Mishimoto coming in as a direct replacement. Griffin doesn't seem to have any past 2017 for direct fits.
I'll plan for a 6hr job and a few beers. ?
I've been trying to track down a slow coolant leak for the past 2 months, and today I finally saw a spot on the driveway.
It looks like the leak is coming from the radiator. I can see an active drip from the drivers side lower corner of it (image below).
My question is, for a driveway repair...
I have found that any of the versions mount really nicely on the back side of the molle panels from MPS between the panel and the side of the Jeep: https://www.molle-platform-solutions.com/product-page/jlu-jeep-wrangler-molle-fender-well-panels-pair
Then I just use a extension cable to rout the...
