  3. New JL Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

    @johnbyron yes that is it. I had marked the head of the bolt with a sharpie as well to ensure they replaced it during the work. Luckily they replaced all 5 bolts during my TSB work.
  4. Power Steering Fluid Level

    I too had the TSB work done and after a few days checked and my fluid dropped a few times and eventually below the min line. I stopped at dealer and they topped it off bringing it right to the max line. It has now stayed exactly at the max line since.
  5. Power steering fluid

    Had the steering box TSB done and this is the fluid they used at the dealership. Had to have them top off the reservoir tank as it was a little low a few days after the work was complete.

  8. Mopar LCA swap

    Wow..what a driving difference. Took out on highway with 17mph wind and could easy steer with 1 hand on steering wheel and drastic improvement with the wandering. May have been combination of new steering box a few weeks ago as well as these mopar LCAs. A few issues getting the LCAs after a...
  9. Loose steering feels like it has play and drifts

    @TheEddie...good advice. I just ordered the Mopar Lift LCAs 2 days ago and already shipped. Can't wait to install and see the difference with more caster paired with the new steel steering box. Total $62 and free shipping using the code and vendor mentioned in this thread. Cheap and...
  10. ROAM MK3 Rock Rail Installation

    +1 on the bedlined sprayed and well worth the $100 additional cost and very happy with how these look. Hope the extra protection helps with the potential rust concerns, although the frame mount MK3's have the e-coating per ROAMs website. Will be keeping a close eye on it as the winter months...
  11. New JL Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

    TSB completed today. No issues at the dealer and they did the work without any pushback. Right away can notice the steering is much "stiffer" in a good way and it takes a little longer for the steering wheel to return to center after making a left or right turn. No issue just a little...
  12. Mopar LCA swap

    Great write up and based on the suggestion of many this is a must do inexpensive mod for the Rubicon that frankly should have been done at the factory. @blnewt thanks for the advice on the TSB thread and I have started doing more research and will be doing this soon. Stock JLUR and getting the...
  13. Tailgate Key Lock Missing

    Can't believe they made this subtle change and so many have not even noticed, including myself. The other day my son asked why my 2020 JLUR ordered in Feb (delivered in April) didn't have a tailgate keylock. This was as we were looking at my buddy's 2019 JLUR with the key lock. We all laughed...
  14. New JL Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

    Interesting all the different experiences people have at the dealerships. I went to my dealer this morning for service on my wife's Jeep. As the service advisor was finishing up he inquired if there was anything else....I had my TSB printout and was ready to battle regarding the TSB and...
  15. New JL Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

    Been following this thread trying to decide if this new box will help me. Hearing people ecstatic after the new part. I have a 2020 JLUR with the AE box with 2,000 miles all stock. I was concerned with all the horror stories before I ordered my Jeep but was pleased with how it handled when...
  16. ROAM MK3 Rock Rail Installation

    Anthony confirmed today all the bolts are M10. M10 -> 44 Nm / 32 ft-lbs.
  17. ROAM MK3 Rock Rail Installation

    Thx for the very detailed instructions. Helped a ton as I just installed my bed-lined MK3's. I do have a question regarding the torque recommendations as I see this was shared: M6 -> 9 Nm / 7 ft-lbs M6 (trilobial) -> 6 Nm / 4.4 ft-lbs M8 -> 22 Nm / 16 ft-lbs M10 -> 44 Nm / 32 ft-lbs M12 -> 77...
  18. Roam sidestep Rust

    I am still torn on what brand to go with as I said in my previous post as I like the appearance of ROAM and have a buddy with these and he isn't experiencing any issues with rust (MK3 Frame Mount e-coated). His are also Line-X finish. I did notice they have updated their website at some point...
  19. BILLET SILVER Wrangler JL Club

    Always nice to see a random Billet Silver buddy in a parking lot. Both look good but still partial to opting for body colored hardtop, fenders and white lettered tires.
