There is already a thread on this. The European test helps small cars get good ratings by pitting everything against concrete. The reality is if you hit something, it will most likely be another vehicle. Put the wrangler against a small car that aced the test and let’s see what happens.
I won’t comment on how to avoid compressors in the rear (because I had to), but:
UNPLUG ALL CONNECTORS. TWO FRONT, ONE REAR
One of mine is now sealed with RTV and held on with a zip tie due to lesson learned.

The concrete barrier tests are there to bring small cars on par with large ones (because they do not want to discourage small car sales). It is not realistic. Crash the JL against a small car...
