  1. Are the 21’ + Wranglers pretty trouble free now?

I bought a 2021 JLUR Ecodiesel and at 7000 miles electrical breakdown. Sat at shop for a few weeks and then replaced ECM and I was off again. Then at 12,000 miles it started all over again so I traded it for a later year 2021 JLUR Xtreme Recon and have been driving it for 31,000 miles now and...
  2. 3400-Mile Michigan to Colorado Road Trip

Crossed Mackinaw bridge and spent a few days in the Traverse city western countryside. Then spent a few days in Newaygo state park and visited my family. Now we are outside of Ithaca, NY for a few days before heading to Vermont and Maine for a few weeks!
  3. 3400-Mile Michigan to Colorado Road Trip

Nice! I live in Colorado and am currently on a road trip and am in Michigan! I took my new Ford Raptor and our Airstream, the Jeep stayed home for this one.
  4. Is this why, or is this not normal?

Happened to me on a road trip on my ‘21 eco diesel. I ended up replacing with aftermarket liners. Normal but it shouldn’t be
  5. Miller Rock, Solo Wheelin in the Front Range of CO (Allenspark)

Yes, and a 3.5” lift so it can flex
  6. Miller Rock, Solo Wheelin in the Front Range of CO (Allenspark)

If you haven’t done Miller rock check it out. This video my son made will give you an idea of the trails difficulty. It’s not easy but it’s not hard. Check it out…
  7. Two Forum Members Take on Holy Cross

When you’re rock crawling, sometimes a little help seeing in front of you is needed and I agree with Mike, I hate wearing the seatbelt when crawling on obstacles. I will sometimes hang my head out the drivers window to see….. walking it before is helpful but remembering every rock is...
  8. Two Forum Members Take on Holy Cross

I have the white JL and I aired down to 12psi (that’s my usual). I’d go lower next time considering how slick those rocks were….. 10psi would be the lowest and I’d be nervous ?
  9. Two Forum Members Take on Holy Cross

Great video, Mike! What a day! Holy Cross was a fun but humbling experience for me too! I hit my limits on this trail for sure & wont be hitting anything this hard again for a while! I feel like it was a good taste of what doing the Rubicon trail would be like, as far as difficulty since...
  10. Awful service experience

Not Jeep dealership specific, many auto dealerships basically have ex-cons and alcoholic/drug addicts turning wrenches in the shop.
  11. Awful service experience

Another reason why I never take a vehicle to the dealership unless absolutely necessary (electrical or warranty stuff). Oil, differential, transfer case oil changes I do myself! Wheels & tires, rotations, balancing, etc goes to the tire shop (discount tire or Americas tire, depending where I...
  12. Tread wear and off-road performance

My current set of KM3’s started on my Ram for a Canyonlands trip and then sat on my property for a couple years before I bought some new rims and had them put on the Jeep a year ago. They still wheel great and highway driving isn’t bad either but they will need to be replaced before winter for...
  13. Tread wear and off-road performance

I have run KO2’s on my Jeep and Powerwagon for years! Right now however, I have KM3’s on the Jeep and they are getting pretty worn out but I’ll make them last until winter. I’ll probably replace them with a tire I haven’t tried before for something different…… haven’t thought too much about it...
  14. Metalcloak 3.5” front coil springs not seated correctly in upper isolator

Finished up about 30 minutes ago, fedex didn’t arrive until around 6. Went pretty smoothly, minus a couple minor unexpected obstacles. The springs are now centered and I can’t wait to take it wheeling!! Sorry, didn’t really take any pics as I just wanted to get it done.
  15. Metalcloak 3.5” front coil springs not seated correctly in upper isolator

Still waiting for fedex to arrive….. says will arrive by 430 and it’s 426 right now….. I’m ready to go!
  16. Metalcloak 3.5” front coil springs not seated correctly in upper isolator

Metalcloak is coming thru, they told me they’re refunding my purchase and over nighting the isolators to me! They should show up today and I’m staying home so I can install them and get the Jeep back on trails! I’ll admit, I was a little fired up about this and it appears the blame should be...
  17. Metalcloak 3.5” front coil springs not seated correctly in upper isolator

Ok cool, thank you! The one good thing is I’m learning a lot about my Jeep!
  18. Metalcloak 3.5” front coil springs not seated correctly in upper isolator

By the way I did use spring compressors and although they’re scratching the paint on the coils, they feel very safe for the most part and I removed the spring while compressed. I did have to unbolt the lower shock and I wanted to unbolt the sway bar link but it felt under pressure so I left it...
