  1. I don't understand why people complain about mileage!

My 3.6 e torque Rubicon XR doesn’t get that kind of mileage. Never has.
  2. Battery issues and How to test 48V eTorque Battery?

The battery condition determines your voltage charge output requirements. The system will only put out what is required to maintain the batteries. Small battery testers such as yours do not properly test a battery for the most critical test which is the draw test. A battery can pass the regular...
  3. Xtreme Recon Xtreme 35 Tire

Glad they finally updated the Canadian site. It’s been awhile since I checked it. As far as IT looking after it, it’s not that easy. You aren’t buying a pre packaged item like Amazon. There are hundreds of variables each with their own supply and demand issues. Parts may not be available this...
  4. Xtreme Recon Xtreme 35 Tire

The build page is just to give you an idea of what options you have and a “Ball Park” price, nothing more. There is no way it can possibly be kept accurate with all the stock and supply shortages. As it’s been said so many times on here and other social media, Contact your local dealer and find...
  5. Let's see those Granite Crystal Wranglers

    This is the Bondi Deluxe
  6. Jeeps aren't that bad

EDITED final count, 2weeks later, I’m on my way back from Tucson AZ, through NM, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota and NW Ontario… 32 hours 2001 miles lost count of the Wranglers after the first hour, they are everywhere, only 9 Broncos up to Minneapolis and another 4 Minni to...
  7. Rechargeable tool system recommendations?

I use to use the 1/4” driver a lot but a little while back I bought a small DeWalt 1/2” impact ( max 150ftlbs) just for the wheels and smaller components, the big hi torque is used for the big jobs.
  8. Best shocks for ride comfort?

I had 5100 on my JK and hated every minute of it. They were so stiff. I dumped them after 3 months.
  9. Best shocks for ride comfort?

Never had that issue with Ranchos on a JK. They seemed to have a lot of droop but to be honest I never checked the numbers on the shock version 9000 I had
  10. Best shocks for ride comfort?

So far longer than my original Rubi shocks lasted. I’ve had RockSports on my Past Jk they were 4 years old when I traded in and still good over 100,000klm on and off road.
  11. Best shocks for ride comfort?

Can’t go wrong with Rancho RM9000XL adjustable shocks. I’ve run those as well and they are a great riding shock.
  12. Rechargeable tool system recommendations?

I have DeWalt 20v Flex impacts, drivers, carpentry and yard tools. My son has a Milwaukee set. If I were to do it again I would still buy DeWalt. Check all the YouTube reviews you will see that DeWalt and Milwaukee are neck and neck in the power race. I have a small impact, a large impact and a...
  13. KO3 vs KO2 Tires Comparison Look & Analysis, Size Availability and Launch Details

The only reason I can think of why Jeep put 35 KO2 AT on the XR is they got a good deal on them, they are C rated, and they are a fair bit on the small size compared to other 35s, and to minimize clearance issues.
  14. KO3 vs KO2 Tires Comparison Look & Analysis, Size Availability and Launch Details

If you never go off road or do occasional dirt roads an AT is fine but then why buy a Wrangler. If you don’t like the noise of a more aggressive tire then you are in the wrong wheel house.
  15. KO3 vs KO2 Tires Comparison Look & Analysis, Size Availability and Launch Details

68lbs a tire for 35” is still light compared to a lot of tires out there. My 35” Pitbulls were close to 100lbs a tire. The only downside I see to Duratrac RT so far is they aren’t listing a 37”.
  16. Best shocks for ride comfort?

I’ve tried Bilstien 5100 and they were very harsh. Not a fan of the Mopar lift FOX shocks, they were harsh too.
  17. Best shocks for ride comfort?

Rock Sports for the win here. They have been my favorite for ride comfort.
  18. KO3 vs KO2 Tires Comparison Look & Analysis, Size Availability and Launch Details

The new Goodyear Duratrac R/T is available. I much prefer them up north where we get snow and ice.
  19. Installed Suspension Height?

It’s an average of all models. Rubicons don’t have a suspension lift over other models. They do have taller tires and highline fenders that give them the higher look. In general Rubicons or Saharas do have heavier spring sets because they are higher optioned and weigh a bit more …
