  1. Manual Update for Uconnect

Nope. The radio must support wired CarPlay or Android Auto for those to work.
  2. Decals and paint

Cost for one. As silly as it sounds, it costs Stellantis money to have multiple sets of decals. Second, it keeps things simpler on the vehicle assembly line. A line worker doesn't have to stop and look for a different decal part to apply. They simply grab one from the standard supply and affix.
  3. Can someone explain why?

    It's a Decepticon.
  4. Tailgate rattles really bad

What's with this gap here? Unless that is an optical illusion, something isn't right with your tailgate. Also, in the video, it sounds to me like the rear glass above the spot I circled is rattling, not the tailgate.
  5. Stroller mount

Use a bungee cord connected to one of the tie downs on the cargo area floor to hold it in place. Or, set it against one of the rear seats and use a bungee cord to hold it down to one of the rear seat anchors. There are so many different stroller types and sizes on the market, it would be...
  6. USB-A or USB-C 2.0 or 3.0?

Missed that part, but the install theory is still the same. ***Edit - OP mentioned they are not DIY inclined. As such, I suggest avoiding doing the dash removal and going with a lighter plug adapter like one of these...
  7. Tire Covers Rant - Holland/Barstool Sports/Tire covers com

Noooo!!!! Never, ever use the same item to clean wheels that touches any other surface of the vehicle. Use separate items for wheels. And don't use rags. Use a quality wash mitt or soft sponge.
  8. Convertible Hard Top Storage

Keep an eye out. Bestop runs sales on the Sunrider and other tops periodically. Do not buy a Sunrider used.
  9. Convertible Hard Top Storage

Here's what I did: https://www.bestop.com/products/sunrider-for-hardtop-jeep-2020-2023-gladiator-2018-2023-wrangler-jl/?sku=5245417 Best investment and mod I've made for my JL. Had one on my previous JK. The Sunrider stays installed year round. My Freedom panels are stored in their...
  10. Manual Update for Uconnect

Which radio? If the 5 inch, there is nothing you can do to add CarPlay and I am not aware of any updates. For SiriusXM, you might be able to add the required antenna, but I don't recall if the radio has a SiriusXM tuner built in...
  11. Lug nuts??

It falls off!!! It falls off!!! It falls the f#$k off!!! 🤪
  12. USB-A or USB-C 2.0 or 3.0?

I assume you mean dash. You will need to pull the panel with the AC controls. A decent trim removal tool should be all you need. A bit of force is needed. but it is 100% doable. Then you should be able to pull the panel where the lighter is. Might be a screw or 2 that needs to be removed...
  13. 2021 JLU Rubicon Suspension in a 2018 JL Sport?

Yes. You'll likely get more lift than expected. The 4 door is obviously heavier than the 2 door, so as you mentioned, the 4 door springs might make the ride a bit harsher since they are stiffer.. You might want to consider a larger tire if currently stock.
  14. USB-A or USB-C 2.0 or 3.0?

Read my posts above. I have had my wireless MagSafe charger for well over a year and use it without issue simply by providing power from the lighter port. There's nothing really special about what is needed. It is just that the standard USB ports do not provide enough power for wireless...
  15. USB-A or USB-C 2.0 or 3.0?

Here's what I would do if I wanted to permanently add a QC USB port: Tap into the front cigarette lighter power using one of these - https://www.amazon.com/s?k=jeep+jl+power+adapter&ref=nb_sb_noss_2 Install one of these or something similar and then tap into the adapter above to provide power-...
  16. USB-A or USB-C 2.0 or 3.0?

I use a lighter plug for my radar detector that has a USB port on it. I then just use the USB cable that came with the Bulletpoint Magsafe charger. https://www.amazon.com/Uniden-LRDACWM044-Radar-Detector-Adapter/dp/B07Q41PT72 The concern with the Bulletpoint chargers is that they need the...
  17. Issue with backup camera and XM radio function

It's actually best to let the vehicle sit.
  18. Cracked Roof

Jeep hard tops are not exactly made of fiberglass. They are made of a Sheet Molding Compound (SMC) and require a resin other than the polyester that is used on conventional fiberglass work. SMC resin is a fiberglass-based compression molding that is used in applications that require high...
  19. Issue with backup camera and XM radio function

Let it sit for up to 24 hours. When the radio loses power, it needs time to re-learn all of the the vehicle functions since it is directly tied to the CANBUS. All feature should cone back over time. Patience is a virtue here.
