  1. Should my 2019 Rubi have these?

Looks are subjective but the bumper ends exist for on-road crash protection. You want your bumper and not the wheel colliding with a vehicle or object in front of you. The bumper ends prevent rollover and ride-up. And, I'd wager to say it's easier to fix a damaged bumper than a damaged...
  2. Propane Fire Pits

We have "The Deluxe" for our camping/RV adventures. It puts out nice heat. We use a bbq-sized (20lb) propane cylinder with it. https://outlandliving.com/collections/fire-pits
  3. does anyone else find the the oil dipstick doesn't show oil level clearly?

We're in the 2.0L turbo 4-cyl sub forum....hellooooooooo lol There is a specific procedure for checking the oil in the 2.0. The owner's manual - if you haven't, go read it. 5 minutes after a fully-warm shutdown, check the oil. And no, the line isn't perfect, but usually with a straight pull out...
  4. Adios fellas...

And that's how you know trading it was probably the wrong choice. There is no cure for that thought in the back of your head, "I miss my old Jeep" --except for buying another one. That is a nice truck, though. Happy trails! Edit: And you dumped a C5 Corvette in the shuffle? Oh, man...
  5. Walmart wouldn't install my 35's

Stop buying tires at Walmart. There's a whole offroad community full of great vendors dedicated to Jeeps who will earn your patronage as a customer.
  6. Auto Start-Stop Question

Another vote for https://www.autostopeliminator.com/collections/jeep/products/2018-jeep-wrangler-jl-autostop-eliminator I installed it shortly after buying my Jeep and haven't touched the button since. If you want to press the button yourself after starting the Jeep, every time, you will do no...
  7. 2024 Toyota 4Runner

I think the 4Runner is a better SUV than the JL, absolutely. The outgoing version is absolutely great. If I was personally enthusiastic about them, I'd probably try to get one before they are gone.
  8. Can't remove rear seat seat belt bolt - 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon

I know in some vehicles the bolts for the seat belt anchors have a Loctite-type compound from the factory, and it's not the blue stuff either. They don't want those bolts coming out. Glad you were able to get it out...without a torch!! :)
  9. Ranking Every Generation of the Wrangler

"Best" is subjective, but I think the TJ represented a good value for the time, specifically the later years.. Capability, reliability, a good blend of modern conveniences, good configurability and lots of stand-alone options. The LJ/Unlimited was the right blend of extra space and wheelbase...
  10. I Need Some Counseling With This Jeep Thing

Time to engage in some online retail therapy to calm your anxiety about owning so many Jeeps. "Add to cart" and "Buy Now" have a much greater therapeutic effect than most anxiety medications, it seems.
  11. Adaptive Cruise - Is it worth waiting for?

I'm not a fan. Not because I'm a Luddite or eschew so-called "safety" features, I just don't want it. It's yet another feature that needs some level of anticipation and configuration, and I prefer to actually drive. That said, I do use regular cruise control because on long trips it's nice to...
  12. Jack Stands being safe

Just make sure they're not the recalled versions sold through Harbor Freight and other discount tool retailers. https://www.nhtsa.gov/press-releases/consumer-advisory-warning-harbor-freight-jack-stand-users#:~:text=There%20are%20two%20separate%20recalls,%2C%20to%20March%2031%2C%202020.

  18. Can the Pentastar 3.6L VVT e-torque Performance benefit from Premium fuel

Legit question. But you're going to get a lot of fluff in response. As long as you're not getting excessive pinging, it's perfectly fine to use the recommended 87-octane fuel in the 3.6.
  19. [video] Donut: "We Tried Cringe Jeep Accessories"

    "Grumble Grille" I can't unhear it! 🤣
  20. Would you Buy this Used Wrangler?

Nope. Wranglers are not rare. Find another without the issue.
