The little fabric pillar they added looks HORRIBLE. It's so bad I'm hoping these are spy shots from when they were testing the half doors and the uppers are still in design.
Can we just get the TJ design team off the trails and out of the bars for one minute and get them on this? Give me one...
Selling my factory steel rubicon bumper . Has some wear but everything works and overall it's a super solid bumper. Only selling it because I upgraded to an ARB.
Sells new for $8-900. Selling mine for $400.
Local only - weighs too much to ship.
I just installed mine and noticed the same thing.
I ordered the Mopar Brush guard and (with minimal cutting) should be able to get it on there with the ARB. It fits a bit tighter to the jeep, which i like - but feels weak which worries me.
Gonna try it on this weekend and I'll post...
We got a wrench in for the light mounts with the winch on. Bumper wasn't mounted on the Jeep though so it might not be as easy.
I didn't use any of the ARB license plate mounts. Don't like the look (not low profile enough). I'm working with a friend to try and design a license plate mount that...
If it's just a width of the tire to the width of the wheel you're worried about you should be fine. You can find a ton of people with 35's and even 37's on stock wheels.
I've got 35's on stock wheels. Had it done at Discount tire and they didn't even flinch. Might want to give them a call if...
Installed the ARB Classic Stubby, Warn VR 10S and some PrimeLux lights.
The ARB Bumper is great - high quality, super solid. Went on fairly easily. I was a bit worried about the diameter of the bull bar but it looks great in person.
Warn makes such a good product. The fit in the bumper...
Here's what I have, they bolt on and sit below the Rubi Rails - now if you are looking for just STEPS and not full rails/sliders, that's a different story. And I've never seen any steps that bolt onto the rails.
There are a lot of options that bolt on over the existing rails and act as a step. This is how my wife currently gets into my JLUR.
I went with Ace Engineering. But like I said there are a lot of options.
I'm basically the same build date and pick up as you, and roughly the same milage (21.6k).
I'm responding because I've ALSO had some random electronic stuff and I was just browsing to see if it was happening to any other early '18 owners. Here's my list:
Randomly doesn't display the...
Honest question - wasn't the Jeep designed to be a general purpose vehicle (GP = Jeep) and not just a personal carrier? I've seen versions with lots of other uses besides passenger carry.
That would mean that technically a Jeep is a GP is a Jeep.
It is a "most winches" situation, but if i remember correctly the winch plate manufacturer will typically list what it will work with.
Looks like the JCR plate works with Smitty XRC winches.
You will need a winch plate to mount the winch.
Depending on which type of winch you have, there are solutions for the front plate. I used this:
Worked great until I did a river crossing. Water pulled it out and I lost the plate. Just a...
