  1. Terra Acoustics vs Traditional Upgrade

If you think the TA’s have small magnets, you should see the OE knee panel speakers, LOL. In all seriousness though, now you have ‘em, so plug ‘em in and give ’em a shot 👍.
  2. Rubicon Upgrade To XR/392 Wheels

HA! Not that many . . . yet 😎, but I did swap over to the Teraflex mount which means I do have plenty of adjustability available for whatever comes next 👍.
  3. Rubicon Upgrade To XR/392 Wheels

Looks great! The new black/polished XR version is really growing on me, but I can’t really justify swapping wheels for the 5th time in 3.5 years. Not that it will stop me, I just won’t be able to justify 🤪.
  4. 35" Tires on stock Sport S without lift?

The Nitto’s, are the same basic width within ~.15 as what you have now, so you should be able to do some real world testing to eyeball and/or measure your clearance. As others have said, fenders and fender liners are likely your first issues.
  5. Doing my first 19a Clutch recall today

Dropped mine off for the 19A this morning. Separation anxiety already setting in. Lots of free space in the garage though 👍.
  6. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Wood, $8. GRK fasteners, $47.50. I like how you roll! 😎
  7. So do we just ignore how bad the jeeps ride??

The best thing about having grown up poor is understanding the importance of scrimping, saving, and researching before ANY purchase. It’s not like Wrangler ownership is a government mandate and we just need to “take it.” No one HAS to buy a Wrangler, so If you do buy a Wrangler and feel like...
  8. Jeeps parking next to Jeeps... post yours!

Low degree of difficulty for this pic . . . just some Friday night “makeup match” winter tennis.
  9. JLU getting AEV lift looking for 17’ wheels for M/T tires

Technically, Rubi’s also have wider fender flares to account for their wider axles. Poke will be relatively the same between trims. The exception would be Rubi fenders on narrow axles, which gives you another 3/4 of an inch to play with (i.e., the route I took).
  10. Can’t keep new(er) Jeep between the lines at higher speeds

I’m no expert, but I’d start by first ID’ing the lift to establish a starting point in terms of what you’re dealing with. It visually appears to be at least 2.5” or more versus stock. At that point, suspension geometry comes into play. Hard to tell from photos, but can you tell which...
  11. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

LOL . . . the one remaining vent which works is the only one my passengers can’t reach. I'll leave it there 👍
  12. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Replaced 3 broken dash vents, and added some 6.5” knee speakers. Fun stuff ☹️ if you’re into clips, screws, and the occasional bolt.
  13. 2024 2 Dr XR Rubicon

That’s the thing about FB Marketplace, you don’t know what you don’t know. Is it a great deal, or are you about to lose a kidney? Who knows! On the positive side, I’ve responded to ads posted at 2:00 and picked up parts in less than 2 hrs. Ad was up and removed before most people had a chance...
  14. 2024 2 Dr XR Rubicon

Extreme example below, but deals are out there . . . they just don’t stick around very long. I paid a bit more for mine (old/previous 25 bolt style) and had to take an afternoon drive to the next state over, but it was still a huge savings over OE.
  15. 2024 2 Dr XR Rubicon

XR takeoffs can be found for much less $ than new. You’ll go broke buying new OE wheels from Mopar.
  16. Where to buy a new OEM steel front bumper

I’m with you on that one. Locations like “Earth,” “At Home,” or “USA” really don’t help those of us wanting to help. However, the OP’s profile photo and user name point to the Foothills of the the Great Smoky Mountains . . . over by “Murrivull, God’s country” . . . or maybe not, just guessing 🤞
  17. Spacer lift- What else needed?

LRC Ridge Grapplers. I have the 6MT, so the 3.45’s for driving around town are fine, just means I only use 4 of my 6 gears most of the time. I generally use 5th gear on the interstate if there are any signs of hills or long uphill grades. I work from home and spend 90% of my time in 45mph and...
  18. Spacer lift- What else needed?

Std Sahara narrow axles w/ D44 rear. Tires are 285/75’s (33.86”), which are a little over a 1/2” shorter than most 35’s (34.4”).
  19. Spacer lift- What else needed?

Yes, easy as advertised with the twist of a knob. No problems or issues to date.
