  1. Paint Problems

Wow. Really unfortunate and very disappointing.
  2. Paint Problems

Yep, I have the same issue with my punkn. I never noticed it though. My jeep is currently being repaired for a small incident I had with a rock on my last offroad trip. They called me up there to show me all the places where you can see the primer coat under the orange paint. It was pretty...
  3. Paint problems

Turns out, I have the same issue with the paint on my 2019 Punkn. I never noticed how thin the paint was. I had a little incident with a rock on my last offroad trip and the jeep is at the body shop to get repaired. The body shop pointed out how thin the paint was and said it's going to be...
  4. Half doors appears in system! "Dual Door Group With Base / Premium Uppers" [Updated with real life photos]

How often do you go offroad with your jeep and what kind of trails do you run? If you are overlanding, I doubt half doors would be worth the investment. If you prefer rocks, half doors are worth looking at. There are other half door options out there, so spending money on the Mopar version...
  5. Half doors appears in system! "Dual Door Group With Base / Premium Uppers" [Updated with real life photos]

Using half doors offroad gives more visibility than just rolling the window down.
  6. Steering issues cured by installing new Steering gear box! (per TSB 08-074-20)

The latest... JeepCares helped with getting the dealer to perform the TSB. Steering is definitely better with the new box. Just drove the jeep from Florida to Texas for a jeep jamboree and it did great! This new box is a definite improvement.
  7. Steering issues cured by installing new Steering gear box! (per TSB 08-074-20)

Update from S. Florida. Took jeep to Napleton on Northlake in the Palm Beach area. My jeep has a constant pull to the right. Dealer said it needed alignment. Its been aligned 4 times now in an effort to resolve the pull. Dealer aligned it, still pulls to the right but they won't do the...
  8. Steering issues cured by installing new Steering gear box! (per TSB 08-074-20)

Not yet, please update if you do have success with one of them. I am in S. Florida. Northlake won't return my call; going to try Arrigo next. My issue is with a right pull. Not sure if this new box will cure that or not. JL steering is certainly nothing like the steering in my JK. JK...

  11. 2020 EJS (Easter Jeep Safari) [Cancelled due to Coronavirus]

Check your emails ... Easter Jeep Safari 2020 is being canceled. Really disappointing.
  12. Aluminum skid plates for JL.

Here's some pics of the TNT xfer case/belly skid with their engine skid. I had to modify my engine skid a bit to work with the belly skid. This is due to having their engine skid before the belly skid was developed.
  13. Criswell customers

I am in south Florida and ordered my JLR from them. I flew into Washington Reagan, a friend picked me up and drove me to the dealership. The dealership is in southern Maryland, which is closer to Dulles/Reagan versus BWI.
  14. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

They are Currie 2.5" springs for the 4 door. They are installed on the 2 door. I do not have enough miles with them to offer much of an opinion yet. I will have better feedback on them after my trip next week to the Texas Spur Jamboree. I bought the springs and King shocks from Currie. I...

  17. Scout Trooper 2 Door Build

Your jeep is coming along nicely. Question about the sliders... they attach to the frame only? Not the body mounts? Do they extend the full length of the pinch seam? How many attachment points? I am really struggling with finding some decent sliders for the 2 door. I read the long thread...
  18. Control arm skids?

I went with Artec weld on front lowers and Artec bolt on for the rear lowers.
  19. Bumper mounted Swing out Tire carrier vs. HD replacement hinge tire carrier

No, not yet. I am going to cut off the extra part that provides reinforcing by the handle. I really have no desire to drill holes in the tailgate. Should be nice here this weekend, so I hope to get some garage stuff done.
  20. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Thanks for the feedback, but I like the way it looks as is. To each his (or her) own.
