  1. What did you do WITH your Jeep today.

AWESOME pics! Thank you for sharing! We can't wait to get back to CO/NM area when I retire...
  2. Grand Wagoneer anyone?

Not a fan of the big rim / short sidewalls look, but that's just me. Otherwise, I think it looks quite a bit like a Navigator - which is not a bad thing.
  3. Jeepin' the Dream III

Thank you for the pic link. Reminds me of how much I miss Colorado! Hope to get back there for retirement IF I can afford it.
  4. OCEAN BLUE Wrangler JL Club

  5. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

That is some serious protection! Good deal!
  6. Why do JL owners do this?

Honestly, I think the OP is jealous of all the attention that Jeep generates - hence this thread putting it down. It worked! 7 pages and I took the bait, too!
  7. Newbie question about stock wheels and what can and can’t do.

Use them until you either wear them out or they no longer get you where you want to go - which ever comes first. If money is no object, whip out the plastic and begin the never ending quest for "better (insert choice here)" something. Spoiler alert: it will cost WAY more than you think once...
  8. Wheeling in Denali National Park!

Thanks for posting these. Years ago I knew three young guys in mechanic school in Denver that drove down from Alaska for the 9 month trade school course. They were admitted Air Force brats that moved there with family and fell in love with Alaska. You could hear it in every word they spoke.
  9. Finally pulled the trigger!

    Congrats to you both!
  10. Get busy living

*shaking head*... I can't believe I wasted my time reading through this entire thread only to conclude that there is nothing new here that I can't read anywhere else on the net... My bad - at least it is in the off-topic discussions. Carry on. I am going back to Jeep stuff.
  11. First Impressions 3.45 to 4.56 Gears

    What does that mean?
  12. Well-made things you get pleasure from using

Speak of knives - I got this for my wife on the anniversary of her father's passing. He was a Marine that was awarded the Purple Heart. It is very high quality and brought her to tears. Have to give a shout out for Snap On tools. In a former life, I was an auto mechanic and tow truck driver. I...
  13. Pics of Sport S with 285/70/17 tires on stock wheels?

Now that you have had these tires for a while, what are your thoughts - ride quality, performance in rain or snow? What PSI are you running? Thanks in advance.
  14. DD on 37" tires?

Love your black & white theme. White letter tires are perfect touch on that rig!
  15. Windshield washer fluid.

I have to say - we are a bored lot to have 3 pages on windshield washer fluid (including me - I read all 3 pages)...
  16. Exploring North Carolina

Nice thread. We can't do much hiking anymore, but love to explore being in the forest on dirt roads...
  17. We ( three JLUR) go on a 5734 mile Jeep Wheeling trip and Earn 11 Jeep Badges. And Meet forum members in the oddest places.

Awesome and epic trip! Congrats to you for planning and executing a trip some of us can only experience vicariously! Always enjoy your posts and pictures!
  18. Took my JLUR for oil change and advised to do lube for brakes

I get the brake service to keep things in top condition - that is what dealers do, but... You needed new tires at 20,000 km (12,400 miles)?
  19. aFe Mach Force XP High-Tuck Cat-Back Exhaust "Install" and Short Review

Any update to this? What happened to the muffler? Did you ever get any response from AFE?
  20. Third trip to Moab, the disease has fully taken control of our bodies...

Durango is the perfect place from which to explore all things southwest. We lived there for a couple of years and loved it. Only reason we left was due to job loss and cost of living (minor technicalities, lol). We didn't wheel much back then, but LOVED the scenery even from main and back roads...
