Just changed mine this weekend around 17k miles. Fluid coming out wasn’t completely black, and didn’t notice any metal flakes. Wiped off a lot of gunk on the drain plug though.
For how easy it is to do, it’s great for peace of mind!

If you have any devices that draw power (dash cams) and they’re plugged into the USB slot, they’ll stay on for an hour after you shut off the vehicle, or even after opening a door to grab something. Definitely can kill the battery early. I always trickle charge now for peace of mind.

Also I'm reading Pentosin CHF 11S satisfies MS-11655. I've had good experience with that in the past so I might lean towards that fluid.
