  9. Gearing and transfer case on diesel with larger tires

I am thinking about ordering a diesel. I'm just not sure which package. With all the torque the diesel has it doesn't seem to me a 4:1 transfer case is needed. I have owned Rubi's before and loved the 4:1 BUT they were gas powered. When most companies convert a Wrangler to a V8. they replace the...

  15. Possibly ordering JLU Willys with diesel: what will I miss from a Rubicon

I have thought about this many times. I know the diesel upgrades it to the d44's. Not sure if they are the wide ones. I haven't been able to find that info. With 442 ft lb of torque I don't think a 4:1 tcase is needed. The wheels/tires/suspension is something I always change. So I don't care...

  17. JK vs JL Dana 44 "D44" axle shaft comparison.

Anyone have pic of a JK Rubi axle next to a JL Rubi so we can compare apples to apples?. 30 spline JK is a base axle. Rubi is totally different and stronger.
  18. 2 Door JL Red 3.5" 37's

Great build. Be super cool to find some Rubi take off axles. Seeing them pop up everywhere. Add locker and gears and it will be about the same price as Rubi axles but they are much stronger.
