If he does that, it will fail miserably. Think Jeep Dealerships. Upscale customers will not tolerate lousy service and piss poor service manager attitudes. Upscale buyers will jump to another brand immediately after the first display of attitude or the first "we don't know how to fix it"
Winner winner winner. Stellantis gives owners $100.00 off MSRP coupon on purchase of 2024-2025 Wrangler to settle suit. Lawyers walk away with $19,000,000.00 in settlement.
Y07 - The second of 3 NHTSA Recalls on my Jeep, sort of confirms what you said.
IMPORTANT: This clutch defect may look similar to a previous clutch defect you were contacted about. Please note that this is a new safety recall for a different issue. Your vehicle will need to have this safety...
I think they are doing a gradual rollout so they don't get overwhelmed. They are probably going in an order to get the sale holds fixed first, and then working backward model year by model year. There also might be minor differences in the replacement parts for earlier years that already had...
This is all nice for an approximation, and without a temperature sensor it can't really know overheating is occurring, so the software is just making an educated guess. I'm not sure I want guesswork slowing me down if I am doing a freeway merge or other higher speed maneuver.
Nope. 19A is for all JL manual transmissions from 2018 on.
My Jeep previously had W12 completed March of 2020 and Y07 in January 2021 done.
Read 19A again, I believe the text is in the very first post in this thread and is also available on the NHTSA Website.

My Jeep has had two prior NHTSA safety recalls done for the clutch. One was a software update that somehow detected higher than normal clutch temperatures and detuned the engine if slippage was detected. I don't know how it did that, there are no sensors for that. Since mine is a 2018, and...
Bought mine used in 2021. Original owner was @Kadonny
41K miles now. Fixed steering with newer Mopar track bar and the steering pump, also did the Mopar LCA install - what a job. Preemptively did the sun visor fix. Added a Badland 12K winch and Warn solenoid kit for the winch. Will be...
@Actman I was origninally going to go with the CFII. Then the recall was issued and I decided to wait to see what the Stellantis solution is. Many months later, there is still no solution. So I have decided to move ahead with a 3rd party fix.
Your thoughtful contributions to this thread and...
I would rather not have constant power going to the winch, so I opted for the Warn 62132 kit and run it off of my AUX3 switch (I have the factory tow package and factory aux switches). I chose not to go with the included Badlands switch.
WARN 62132 Power Interrupt Kit with Battery Lead...
Take out two plastic rivets on each side - at least on my 2018 - and then they are just clipped on and come off easy. They go on easy, too. You will need plastic rivets and a cheapo rivet tool from evilzon or Harbor Freight to do the job. The rivet tool is handy for the plastic wheel well...
