Congrats!
I asked the credit union that I'm a member of what their rates are now that it's getting closer and they're mid 7s. If you can join, Navy Federal has historically had better rates and that's probably who I'll talk to next.
You may already know, and I may have missed someone else mention it - but after some time on pure electric it'll also force you to use the gas for a bit to cycle the fluids and keep the fuel in the tank from getting stale. Keep that in mind if you didn't already know. I think the refresh mode...
I'd get a second opinion because it sounds like the dealer is just playing you.
If you really want a 392 that much, ordering and waiting is likely going to save you the most. I'd even bet getting one off a lot is going to do more than offset your trade-in savings. There's not enough...
That's consistent with what I believe others have seen too. Doesn't save me from checking the trackers any less often hoping they get ahead of that schedule :D
Except for parts availability my local Ford dealer has been pretty stellar with my previous F350. Anything I took it in for was fixed within 12 hours once the parts arrived. There was one point though where parts weren't available for a safety related issue and I didn't have my truck for 2...
I also go a letter from Heather today and noticed it was different. That said, I did get the e-mail on the 21st that I'm scheduled but her letter didn't state there had been any changes. Useless as usual.
Honestly I think Stellantis just did a lot of us really wrong and chose to build up "days in stock" and only filled a limited # of 4Xe's leading up to and during the strike. Now that the contract has been ratified, it seems like dozens of sold orders have suddenly been scheduled. With any luck...
Like grayhawk said, no amount of noise will speed things along. Mine was in D for 116 days before it was scheduled. There are others who ordered back in May that just scheduled. The only thing that seems to speed up your order is getting a 4Xe.
Fortunately the strike is over and Stellantis...
If, and that's a big IF, it goes the way others that seemed to follow a regular schedule went it'll take about a month from scheduling to hit production. Up to a week in that stage, up to a week to ship, and since you're far enough away that it'll probably come by rail, 2 more weeks. Minimum 2...
You're welcome. This is my first time ordering as well and I had the same anxiety when I wasn't sure it was an X. Now it's just the daily cycle of emotions waiting for this thing to even get scheduled.
It's not supposed to be highlighted but the fact that's it's there shows it's an X. Logical guess is highlighted codes also have a text description?
Nobody except mopar knows what all those codes mean as they're not documented anywhere public. There are some that are known or shared between...
I don't recall if the VIN is specific enough but if you plug your info into this jeep tracker you should see package option 24Y if it can find it in their system.
