  1. 2020 Wrangler Transmission failed

Get ready for a long wait, my Jeep was at the dealer for 11, ELEVEN straight weeks. And the new trans they installed has weird shift points and is jerky.
  2. Transmission Failure?

I also had that code; my Jeep also had metal shavings in the transmission pan. The trans was replaced, but it is not the same...
  3. 2020 Wrangler Transmission failed

This really sucks. My auto trans also went out and needed a full replacement. I really like my Jeep, It has no steering issues or anything else, but the new trans is very jerky. I don’t trust it. Mine is a 2018 Sahara and I was thinking about getting a new one but it seems FCA still has...
  4. 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara 8 speed transmission FUBARED

Similar to my 2018 Sahara w/8 speed auto. My trans died one day, it was towed to the dealer and I got it back 5 days shy of three months! The new trans feels jerky like the shift program is wrong. I don’t even drive it anymore.... maybe three times in the last six months.
  5. Transmission problems, OBD codes P1D91 & P0732

I have seen that report, thanks. The Subaru is my wife’s car. I am unsure of what to get next, I must have 4wd or awd, and I would like to buy American. I have seven cars, six of em are 4wd, including two pick ups...
  6. Stop/Start Not Ready-Battery Charging

I finally got my Jeep back, and so far the ESS is working properly for two days. The mechanic told me he replaced both batteries, and the wiring harness. These items do not appear on the parts list, but I did see the old aux battery and new wiring harness with my own eyes as he was removing...
  7. Transmission problems, OBD codes P1D91 & P0732

Ok, I finally got my Jeep back from the dealer, five days short of THREE months! Not entirely due to the transmission, the ESS system went out while at the dealer. To their credit they apparently fixed the ESS, but it took a long time. The transmission is supposedly a new replacement, but it...
  8. V41 Repair didn't take!

That sucks. Is your Jeep lifted, or modified?
  9. Thinking of Purchasing Rubicon Unlimited

I would wait, at least until the end of the year. Better deals to be had, and there are still some bugs to work out.
  10. Stop/Start Not Ready-Battery Charging

Update: this morning my dealer called and said the newly installed pcm, programming with the latest update, & overnight battery charge, did not fix the issue. Now, they are waiting on some “sensors” and it will be a few more days. Surprised?, no.
  11. Stop/Start Not Ready-Battery Charging

So today my dealership service manager called and told me they are going to replace the pcm, and reprogram it. Then they will test drive it, hopefully completing this work in a day or two. I will post an update on whether this works or not.
  12. Should I pursue lemon law?

I agree. I am in the lemon law process.
  13. Stop/Start Not Ready-Battery Charging

They could be.. my 2013 motorcycle still has it’s original battery, and my electric driveway gate batteries last at least two years; they are both similar to the Jeep aux battery.
  14. Stop/Start Not Ready-Battery Charging

Yes you do, they do not know what is wrong, or how to fix it. My dealer gave me a loaner after a week.
  15. Should I pursue lemon law?

I too have had many new cars, of many types. My Jeep is the worst, of the worst I have ever had, and I am not alone in this. Jeep IS near the bottom of reliability; that is Jeeps fault, not the parts suppliers, not the dealers, not mine. I am glad you like/love your Jeep. I wish mine wasn’t a...
  16. Should I pursue lemon law?

Lol, Toyota is #3 in that survey; Jeep is way, way down near the bottom... but Nerubi will still defend Jeeps, no matter what. It’s as if he/she is personally invested in the Jeep brand and feels insulted if you complain about the OBVIOUS lack of quality Jeep has. I will now await a personal...
  17. Unusual Tire wear

Well, it could be camber or toe out, but it’s on the rear. No visible camber issue so wtf. And they did a 4 wheel alignment, everything checked out. I guess long term will tell. Btw, the car was in for it’s first service, tires had not been previously rotated. I should follow behind it and...
  18. 2020 Wrangler Sahara Unlimted Check Engine Light On

Take a pic of the cel, and OBD2 code if you can. OBD 2 codes are generic and you can look up the code online. I hope it’s nothing serious, but post an update when it gets resolved.
  19. FCA lack of quality check

The article said the roof harness connector may have been damaged when the windshield was replaced, and the a-pillar molding had been removed by the mechanic. Many of these electrical faults are probably caused by damage to the harness connector, at/by the dealer’s mechanic. The lift gate was...
  20. So many problems.

Yes there does seem to be a lot of problems. 9 out of 10 haven’t had problems yet, but unfortunately they most likely will. The quality control just isn’t up to par with Jeep, or the vendors who supply the parts. Glass, visors, electronics, differentials, clutches, etc. all seem to be made as...
